Antivax GP shows parents how to avoid jabs
An NHS doctor who is prominent in the anti-vaccine movement has told followers how to forge their children’s medical records to trick schools into thinking they have been inoculated, The Times can reveal.
Jayne Donegan, a GP based in London, regularly hosts paid events for parents and gives discredited advice about children’s vaccines, claiming they are filled with poisonous chemicals, contrary to accepted research and General Medical Council (GMC) guidance.
She told a parents’ group that included an undercover reporter how to falsify a personal child health record, or red book, which contains vaccine history and are checked by schools and GPs.
