JD Vance says Democratic mayor responded ‘aggressively’ to 2020 election fraud probe

Vice President JD Vance has compared the Democratic mayor of Milwaukee to a child stealing cookies after relating a story about the mayor’s “aggressive” denial of election fraud.

The vice president was speaking at a stop in Milwaukee on Wednesday when he related that Mayor Cavalier Johnson sent him a letter objecting to the probe into the 2020 presidential election.

‘It was a little bit of “he doth protest too much.”‘

Johnson invited Vance in the July 7 letter to talk to the officials who run the election and scrutinize the process, but he denied any justification for the probe.

“Federal law enforcement agents, deployed at the direction of the President’s administration, have been present in my city, interviewing election officials,” Johnson wrote in the letter. “I know of no justification for this activity. Evidence of wrongdoing is entirely absent.”

Vance responded in comments to a reporter that he didn’t have time to visit Johnson.

“I did get the letter from the mayor of Milwaukee, and he wants to meet, and he’s welcome to come to Washington, D.C.,” Vance responded. “I’ll sit down and meet with him.”

Vance went on to compare the mayor to his cookie-stealing son.

“Some guy sends me a letter, the mayor of Milwaukee, and says, ‘We don’t do any election fraud! We don’t do any election fraud! We don’t do any election fraud!'” the vice president said.

“And my response to that is, you know what? It kind of reminds me of like a couple weeks ago. I get home … and my 6-year-old greets me, and I love my little boy, but he’s a little mischievous,” Vance explained. “And he gives me a big hug, and he says, ‘Daddy, I’m glad you’re home! I didn’t steal any of the cookies!’ I said, ‘Huh, that’s interesting that you volunteered that, when I wasn’t even talking about that!’ Well, of course, he stole the cookies.”

Vance got some laugher from the audience.

“So, when I hear a guy protesting out of nowhere, ‘I did not do any election fraud! I did not do any election fraud!’ it makes me wonder, why is that guy protesting so aggressively? It’s a little odd!” he added.

Video of Vance’s comments was posted to social media, where it was widely circulated.

“It was a little bit of ‘he doth protest too much,'” Vance added, referring to the famous Shakespeare line.

In a statement emailed to Blaze News, the mayor responded by accusing the vice president of raising “false claims regarding election integrity.”

He added, “Rather than addressing the real questions, the vice president digresses into stories about his child.”

Birth tourism, surrogacy, and the ‘Chinese communist plot to subvert our elections’

The Supreme Court ruled last week to uphold birthright citizenship — and BlazeTV host Liz Wheeler is horrified, calling it not only “one of the most devastating Supreme Court rulings of our lifetime,” but a “Chinese communist plot to subvert our elections.”

“One million Chinese communists will soon be eligible U.S. voters. You heard me. One million Chinese citizens — and if you’re a Chinese citizen, you’ve been indoctrinated in communism,” she explains.

“One million Chinese citizens who are communists, who’ve been indoctrinated to hate the United States and live in China, will soon be able to cast their ballot for your elected officials. Because the Chinese … they pay surrogates in the United States to birth their babies on U.S. soil,” she continues.

“So, they send their sperm to the United States. They buy an egg from an American, or they send an egg with them. They have a surrogate carry the baby, give birth on U.S. soil. That baby is now a U.S. citizen because he or she was born on U.S. soil,” she adds.

Or, she points out, wealthy Chinese will get pregnant and come to the United States to “visit to vacation.”

“They give birth to their child on U.S. soil, which makes the child a U.S. citizen. They then take the babies, whether born of surrogates or born of birth tourism, back to China, indoctrinate them into communists because that’s what happens in China,” she says.

Those children then turn 18 and are “deployed to vote in our elections.”

“And when I say deployed to vote in our elections, they don’t even have to come here. They can vote mail-in ballots. They can vote absentee. Their ballot can quite literally be mailed to them in China,” Wheeler explains.

“They can fill it out to vote for your president, send it back, and it can sway the outcome of our elections. This is not hypothetical,” she continues, pointing out that the first round of these Chinese communist U.S. citizens are about to turn 18.

“The first of these will be voting in our elections as early as 2028,” she says. “That’s right, the next presidential election.”

Dominion settles $1.3 BILLION lawsuit against Mike Lindell over 2020 election allegations

The MyPillow founder and CEO is sleeping easy after reaching a settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over allegations regarding the 2020 election.

Dominion, which is now known as Liberty Vote, filed the defamation lawsuit against Mike Lindell in 2021 and sought $1.3 billion in damages.

‘I can now run for governor, win governor.’

On Monday, five years later, Lindell’s attorneys and the company filed to end the lawsuit with prejudice after settling out of court. The “with prejudice” condition restricts the same lawsuit from being filed in the future.

Liberty Vote said in a statement only that “the parties have agreed to a confidential settlement to this matter.”

Lindell is running for governor of Minnesota, and the latest polling showed that he is the leading Republican in the race. In March the party endorsed Kendall Qualls, an Army veteran and former health care executive.

Lindell said in a statement to WCCO-TV that the end of the lawsuit was a “big relief” for him.

“I can now run for governor, win governor, and not have to have in the back of my mind a worry about a $1.3 billion lawsuit,” he added.

Lindell was previously ordered to pay $2.3 million to a Dominion employee for defamation and ordered to pay DHL $780,000 in Jan. 2025. A federal judge also ruled that Lindell had defamed the Smartmatic voting machine company. A court has yet to determine if the case meets the “actual malice” standard that could lead to Lindell paying damages to Smartmatic.

He issued a defiant response in Jan. 2021 to the Dominion lawsuit threat.

Dominion had similarly sued former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and ended the lawsuit in Sept. 2025 with an undisclosed settlement.

The three top Republican primary candidates are all seeking the endorsement from President Donald Trump, who has said only that Lindell “deserves” to be governor.

Whoever wins the Republican primary on August 11 will run against Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) in the general election.

Glenn Beck: California’s election system isn’t broken — it’s deliberately ‘rigged’

Former Fox News host Steve Hilton is running for governor of California, and while hopeful, he’s well aware that the election system is rigged.

“There’s a line in the law that says that actually, the proof that you mailed your ballot on or just before Election Day — even if it arrives after Election Day — it’s not just the postmark. You can write it. You can handwrite the date,” Hilton said on “Hot Mics with Billy Bush.”

“I had a whistleblower from the postal service explaining this. So just to be really clear what that means: You can backdate your ballot by hand and it will be counted. That’s how insane this system is,” he added.

“You say ‘fraud’s happening, fraud’s happening,'” Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck comments, “No. A lot of it is legal. They have rigged the system.”

“They have made it so nobody’s breaking any laws. Nobody’s going to go to jail. It’s all part of the system,” he adds.

And Jason Buttrill agrees, noting that an election insider he has spoken to has explained how they do this and why it requires “many days of voting.”

“They can see the Election Day turnout, determine the deficit, and immediately go out and find all the votes they need,” Buttrill tells Glenn.

“Now, this is exactly what we’ve been thinking about, but we’ve been calling it fraud,” he says.

“Now here’s the kicker. This is all perfectly legal in blue states because of blue-state laws. … The thing that we really need to be focusing on here is the laws that are disenfranchising millions of voters in many of these states where they have just atrocious election laws,” he adds.

Homeless drug addicts are voting? How Democrats stole the LA mayoral election from Spencer Pratt.

As late ballots poured in overnight in the Los Angeles mayoral race, Democratic socialist Nithya Raman overtook Spencer Pratt — and BlazeTV host Liz Wheeler isn’t buying it, declaring that “the Democrats have stolen an election again.”

“It’s not a question of did they, it’s a question of how they did,” Wheeler says.

And President Donald Trump agrees.

“Not possible for Spencer Pratt to have lost the L.A. runoffs after the big lead he had. 3rd World Nation. Rigged Elections! Now they’ll be working on great guy Steve Hilton. Won’t have results for, possibly, TWO WEEKS, according to officials,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

“This is exactly what happened in 2020,” Wheeler says, claiming that conservatives are again being gaslighted over the results.

“Do not let them gaslight you. They are cheaters. They stole the L.A. mayoral election. The late mail-in ballot numbers are just quite literally unbelievable. There is no way that this councilwoman, this no-name councilwoman who no one knew who she was, Nithya Raman, before Spencer Pratt made ads about her home, there’s no way that she got 22% of the vote in person on election day,” Wheeler says.

“Meanwhile, Spencer Pratt, whose fundraising skyrocketed in the days before the election, supposedly completely bottomed out from 30% on election day to 20% of late mail-in ballots,” she continues.

Senior counsel for the Article III Project Will Chamberlain agrees, telling Wheeler that there was a boost in Raman’s prediction market odds — even though she was still very far behind in the count at that point.

“Honestly, I do think that … somebody somehow was aware that a bunch of ballots were going to start coming in for Raman,” he says.

“But you start with the assumption that California’s election laws are so frivolous. They lack integrity to such a degree that there are a myriad number of ways in which cheating could have happened,” he continues.

“Plus, if you look at the heat map of the late votes, doesn’t it show that it’s coming from Skid Row?” Wheeler asks.

“I actually lived in downtown L.A. a few blocks from Skid Row. Yeah, nobody lives there except homeless people. And the homeless people are drug addicts,” Chamberlain says.

“They’re not going to vote. They’re drug addicts,” he continues, explaining that’s where he believes the fraud originated.

“These operatives are going into homeless encampments and registering people to vote. That wouldn’t make any sense if you were trying to conduct elections on the level because you couldn’t count on those people to vote,” he says. “So that seems like a very unproductive use of your time unless, right, unless you are using those people to cheat.”
