Add fluoride to your conspiracy theory list

In Joel Rubinoff’s article regarding the anti-vaxxer movement, he touches upon a number of other broadly spread conspiracy theories. He failed to mention a prominent one that is similar to anti-vaxxing in its damaging effects to society and, more specifically, our children. And it’s also one particularly relevant to Waterloo Region. In removing fluoride from its water source in 2010, this region chose to listen to misinformed, conspiracy-spewing fools over every reputable health organization in the world and decades of indisputable evidence. The next time you’re in for a checkup, ask your local dentist about the massive increase in dental issues they now deal with among young children.
