Kate Shemirani: antivax leader is banned nurse who fears 5G network

A suspended nurse is the new face of the antivaccination movement as Britain becomes a hub of coronavirus conspiracy theories.

Kate Shemirani, whose Twitter following has trebled in the past three weeks, claims that vaccines are poisonous and has compared public health restrictions to the Holocaust.

Others who have emerged as prominent voices in the “antivax” movement include an anti-5G campaigner convicted of a shooting, a University College Dublin (UCD) professor and a former nursing lecturer.
