LETTER: Explaining the election fraud

LETTER: Explaining the election fraud

Editor, Register-Mail: Letter to the editor (by Fred Stevens) shows exactly what is wrong with our elections. The writer after spouting untruths and half truths derisively calls the 72 million Americans who voted for Trump “mindless fools.” Although, the coup de grace is when he calls Republicans stupid for believing that fraud took place in the 2020 election. The pinnacle of his argument is that there could not have been fraud since “Why didn’t they fix the Congressional seats for the Democrats too?” I heard that argument on MSNBC, CNN and others. Those who repeat what they hear without it passing a filter of reason, logic and common sense risk becoming Democrats.

The very simple answer is that electing the president is a national endeavor while voting for members of Congress are local elections. If one is to commit fraud on a massive scale, which seems to be what happened, they can’t focus on congressional districts. They must focus on the battleground states. If I was one of the perpetrators I would have several cars parked in Gary, Indiana, packed with fraudulent ballots in their trunks. Then I would carefully view the initial results. If Trump was leading in Wisconsin I would then send those cars with fraudulent ballots to Milwaukee. But if Trump was leading in Michigan I would send those same fraudulent ballots to Detroit. Common sense and logic would explain the reason that Congressional races can’t be involved in this fraud since the perpetrators don’t know where the fraudulent ballots are going to end up.

Of course, the above paragraph would explain the unexplainable situation where officials in the battleground states decided to stop counting ballots between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. They had to wait for those fraudulent ballots to arrive. The finale to this plan is that after this break in counting Republican election watchers would not be let back in to witness the counting. And that is actually what happened.

I don’t know if the fraud was large enough to sway the election. But that’s not important. What’s important is that the perpetrators of the fraud thought it would.Otherwise why would they have worked so hard to commit the fraud? — Neil Spun, Monmouth
