Aussie today – US and Europe very soon – Australians warned there’s worse to come as locally transmitted ‘Covid-19’ fake cases surge in Greater Sydney area from a test not testing for the ‘virus’
A top official in New South Wales, Australia has sounded the alarm over the recent local coronavirus infection surge. The rise in cases has prompted even stricter rules for the lockdown in Sydney.
This year’s record-high daily increase of 52 cases was reported on Saturday in the country’s most populous state, New South Wales (NSW), which includes Sydney, a city of over five million people.
“The only conclusion we can draw is that things are going to get worse before they get better,” NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said, pleading with the public to follow Covid-19 restrictions for the sake of their own families and friends.
Can I please urge people to look inside themselves, to really dig deep into their own consciences and do the right thing. If not for yourself, think about your closest loved ones.
NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant said there were 16 people in ICU, including a patient in their 20s and another in their 30s. She added that 10 new cases have been linked to a hotel party in Waterloo, a Sydney suburb, from two weeks ago.
