My grown-up son is a rage-filled bully who believes in conspiracy theories
Q My son is in his thirties and lives abroad. He has become angry, bitter and a bully to me and his sister. He is consumed by conspiracy theories, in particular that Covid is a hoax and that vaccines will kill us. When I refused to apologise for vaccinating him as a child, he wished me “a quick and painless death”.
As a child he was sensitive, kind and shy. He acknowledges a happy childhood. He was academically able and has a degree. I believe him to be neurodiverse: he has absolute focus on particular areas of learning, an inability to multitask and make small talk, and shows bluntness and lack of restraint when people are upset by him.
