The Portland school board suspended its Tuesday meeting and relocated to a virtual setting after numerous attendees protesting a proposed student vaccine mandate refused to wear masks inside the district headquarters.
Security officers approached unmasked demonstrators one-by-one, asking them to comply with the state’s indoor mask mandate.
