United Auto Workers union successfully negotiates reversal of covid jab mandate for its members
For the time being, members of the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) will not have to get “vaccinated” for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19), and can instead opt to rely on their own natural immunity.
A “COVID-19 Joint Task Force” that represents employees of General Motors (GM), Ford, Chrysler and other large corporations issued a statement indicating that a policy of voluntary disclosure was established that allows UAW members to avoid having to provide proof of injection in order to remain employed.
While employees will still be encouraged to take the shots, they will not be forced to do so, representing a first for major unions in the United States. Unfortunately, UAW members will still be required to wear a face covering while on the job, depriving them of oxygen while working inside corporate factories.
“After reviewing the status of CDC and OSHA guidelines, the Task Force also decided it is in the best interest of worker safety to continue masks in all worksites at this time,” the Task Force announced.
“While it is understood that masks can be uncomfortable, the spread of the Delta variant and recent data outlining the continued high rate of transmission in some geographic areas continue to be a serious health threat.”
Will it last, though?
Workers at Boeing and other government contractors were not as fortunate, as their companies refused to back down on forcing them to take the injections from Operation Warp Speed.
Boeing employees did try to stage walkouts in protest, and a lawsuit has put a temporary injunction on the mandates. However, things are not looking good for the future, especially with the new “omicron variant” appearing out of nowhere.
It would seem as though there is no end to the tyranny, no matter how long this drags on and how many new restrictions are put into place. The system aims to enslave everyone eventually, even if some sectors of society are currently evading the mandates.
As far as the UAW is concerned, it is great news that member employees have a reprieve that will hopefully remain indefinitely. The reason why this might not be the case is in the last two paragraphs of the UAW statement, which suggest that the situation could be reevaluated as new information comes into play.
“One of the best ways to fight this virus is by getting as many people as possible vaccinated,” it reads. “The more UAW members, coworkers and their families are vaccinated and have boosters, the quicker this deadly pandemic can be vanquished.”
“The Task Force will continue to closely monitor the COVID health status, and all legal and procedural changes to CDC and OSHA guidelines in order to ensure that everything possible is being done to keep families, members and employees safe.”
The part about continuing to “closely monitor” the situation is what has some thinking that perhaps this is only temporary. Hopefully it remains permanent, but as the latest omicron propaganda runs its course, anything could happen.
“I work logistics for a car maker and they want ZERO liability on anything,” warned one commenter at Citizen Free Press about how quickly things could change. “We have safety meetings two or three times a week, signing our names to prevent liability.”
“As far as the union officials go, they’re trying to step away from politics,” this same person added. “They’ve had big trouble with corruption, and they want it to go away.”
