Arizona GOP Senator Wendy Rogers Praises QAnon Podcast Host Pushing Election Fraud Claims
Republican Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers praised a QAnon podcast host for continuing to push baseless election fraud claims.
Rogers joined Zak Paine on a Saturday live stream on the RedPill78 podcast where they both pushed claims the 2020 Presidential Election was somehow stolen from Donald Trump.
The Republican Senator, who last month earned herself an endorsement from Trump for her ongoing claims of election fraud, praised Paine for promoting baseless allegations of widespread fraud.
During the podcast, Rogers said: “Kudos to you Zak, because you are keeping the flame alive of our First Amendment. And I dare say it is moving the needle.”
The pair then turned their attention to Arizona Attorney General and U.S. Senate candidate Mark Brnovich who is investigating the 2020 Presidential Election over alleged voter fraud in the state.
Paine said: “We’ve been done dirty by politicians. I keep thinking about the situation that Mark Brnovich is in.
“He is running for office in a different spot within the Government and I think, if he drops the ball on this, and he doesn’t come out with some felony indictments and we don’t see perp walks, and we don’t see some of these people in handcuffs, that the people of Arizona are going to abandon him.”
So far, no claims of widespread election fraud have been substantiated and an audit of Maricopa County found no evidence to support the allegations.
The focus on voter fraud claims represents a shift for QAnon influencers who have managed to regularly feature Republican lawmakers on their shows and events to discuss the debunked allegations about the 2020 Presidential Election.
Rogers herself has previously made appearances on podcasts and events run by followers of the QAnon conspiracy.
In October, Rogers and fellow Republican Arizona Senator Sony Borelli were interviewed by In The Matrixxx podcast host and QAnon proponent Jeffrey Pedersen.
The pair also joined numerous other sitting Republican lawmakers and Trump-endorsed candidates at a large-scale conference in Las Vegas, organized by John Sabal, known on Telegram as QAnon John.
Paine also featured at the Patriot Double Down event in Nevada and has previously expressed support for the QAnon conspiracy movement.
According to the Anti-Defamation League, Paine said at an earlier QAnon event organized by Sabal: “President Trump and this movement, this truth and freedom movement, the Q movement, basically saved my life.”
Ron Watkins, who has been accused of at one point being behind the ‘Q’ account that spread the conspiracy online, also attended the Patriot Double Down in Las Vegas, where Rogers and Paine were listed among guests and speakers.
Watkins has since announced a run as an Arizona congressional candidate who also pushes claims the 2020 Presidential Election was stolen from Trump.
During his campaign announcement, Watkins said: “President [Donald] Trump had his election stolen, not just in Arizona but in other states, too.
“We must now take this fight to Washington, D.C. to vote out all the dirty Democrats who have stolen our republic.”
