Speculation Spreads That Biden Has COVID After Psaki Gives Vague Response to Question

Despite reassurances one day earlier that President Joe Biden does not have COVID-19, a new statement from White House press secretary Jen Psaki is casting doubt on her previous comments.

Psaki stated that Biden is “asymptomatic” after coming in close contact with a staffer that later tested positive for COVID-19, according to Associate Press White House reporter Darlene Superville. “He’s asymptomatic. I spent several hours with him this morning and he is feeling great,” Psaki said.

Despite this statement, Superville continued on to clarify that Psaki said Biden has not tested positive for the virus, has no symptoms, and will be tested again tomorrow.
