In March 2022, Russia claimed that U.S. government-supported biowarfare laboratories in Ukraine were developing biological weapons.[1][2] The claim was amplified by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chinese state media.[3][4][5][6] The claim was also promoted by QAnon and gained support among right-wing groups in the U.S.[7][8][9][10][11][12][excessive citations]
