One of the most senior Catholic nuns in Britain has been reported to the Vatican over allegations that as an avowed antivaxer she encouraged her fellow sisters to refuse to have a Covid jab.

Mother General Marilla, who runs the Tyburn Convent opposite Hyde Park in London, believes that the vaccine “kills people”.

While many of the nuns at the convent have taken a vow of silence and rarely set foot in the outside world, Marilla has taken to the streets during anti-lockdown protests, filmed by demonstrators preaching about the vaccine being extremely dangerous.
