Ballard Lawyers Step In To Defend Daily Beast Against Phila. Judge’s Defamation Suit Over Alleged QAnon Link | The Legal Intelligencer

Kaitlin M. Gurney, Leslie Minora, and Seth D. Berlin from Ballard Spahr have stepped in to defend Laura Bradley and The Daily Beast Company in a pending defamation lawsuit. The complaint was filed April 20 in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court by the Beasley Firm on behalf of Honorable Paula A. Patrick, who contends that the defendants accused her of being linked to extremist group Q’Anon. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge John R. Padova, is 2:22-cv-01520, Patrick v. The Daily Beast Company, LLC et al.
