Fact Check: NO Evidence 3 Canadian Doctors Died After Receiving 4th COVID-19 Shot
Did three doctors in Canada die after receiving a fourth COVID-19 shot? No, that’s not true: There’s no evidence any of the men were boosted a second time, but, if they were, there’s also no evidence that the vaccinations caused their deaths. At least two of the doctors died from cancer, and the third had been “seriously ill” leading up to his death, CTV News Toronto reported. The health care company they worked for, Trillium Health Partners (THP), also said, “Their passings were not related to the COVID-19 vaccine.”
The claim appeared in an Instagram post on July 22, 2022, under the title “3 doctors have died in one week from Trillium Partners. Cause of death not disclosed.” It opened:
Please share- 3 physicians at the Mississauga hospitals have died this week. 1st memo Monday, 2nd Tuesday, 3rd Thursday. Cause of death wasn’t shared in the memo, but how many times have 3 doctors died in 1 week, days after the hospital started administering the 4th shot to staff. This is in addition to the physician who worked at north York general who died this week while out running. How many more ‘coincidences’ will people accept. These shots need to be pulled 💔

In a July 29, 2022, email, the Public Health Agency of Canada said COVID vaccination is recommended for everyone six months and above. Serious adverse events following immunization are a tiny fraction of all doses given to Canadians:
- Evidence indicates that the benefits of COVID-19 vaccines continue to outweigh the risks of the disease.
- Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the provinces and territories, and manufacturers continue to closely monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. We’ll respond to any safety issues right away and will inform Canadians about any risks that arise in Canada.
- Of the 48,670 individual reports (0.057% of all doses administered), 9,878 were considered serious (0.011% of all doses administered).
