UFOs

residents saw a UFO during New Year’s Eve

Sure, a good chunk of the city probably lost count of the number of beers, shots, and other drinks they had that night, but here’s what we know.

Just after midnight, Reddit user u/nonobby took to the platform to ask other locals a question that, of course, started quite the conversation.

Did anybody just see a UFO flying around downtown? [sic] I hope someone else saw it and I’m not tripping,” they shared in a post.

A number of San Antonians chimed in, with many expressing their doubt about a UFO in San Antonio.

“Hold on! Let me get high too and I’ll look,” said a sassy u/The_Real_OneHungLo.

“I saw them! they were driving in the left lane and under the speed limit,” u/Marzoni playfully added.

“No mames guey…..I’ll take 3 of whatever you took to see it I wanna see ufos too,” joked u/Various-Cantaloupe89.

A few folks had logical explanations for the sighting.

“There’s going to be a lot of helicopters and drones filming the fireworks,” pointed out u/chrisrodsa.

Some claimed to have seen the same object in the night’s sky.

“I saw this on the Southside by Military [Drive] and Commercial,” u/ifukeenrule shared.

Another local resident, who goes by u/wrldhulk on Reddit, came to the UFO talk with video footage from their Ring camera. Make of it what you will.

What do you think? Did San Antonio begin 2023 with a UFO sighting?
