UK village dubbed as ‘UFO hotspot’ with NASA showing interest

A quaint village in the UK has been dubbed a ‘UFO hotspot’ with NASA reportedly showing interest in the area after multiple sightings. A local resident claims she sold footage of a UFO in the village for £20,000 to a Hollywood producer.

The village in Derbyshire has become a hotspot for alien activity in recent years. So much so, that locals are now running alien tours in Bonsall, reports Manchester Evening News.

There has been such an abundance of sightings that NASA scientists have reportedly expressed an interest in the area. It is believed that they contacted one woman about video footage she captured of an alien spaceship in her back garden.

Local resident, Sharon Rowlands, reportedly sold the footage for thousands to Hollywood back in 2001. It is reported that NASA officials also asked to examine the tape as they believed it could be the key to solving a 90’s mystery.

Scientists believed Sharon’s video showed a similar type of craft once spotted by the space agency’s cameras. Their sighting came during the STS-75 Columbia Space Shuttle mission in early 1996.

On top of the sighting in Bonsall from Sharon back in the early 2000’s there have been a further 19 sightings of UFOs reported in the region. One woman reported seeing a “ball of fire ” in the skies in the village.

Meanwhile, another claimed to have seen “two big, bright lights.” A dog walker alleges that he witnessed a “pink glow, vertically shaped like a shoe box”.
