NFL star AJ Brown doubles down on moon landing conspiracy theory
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown doubled down on his belief that the moon landing was staged because humans have not returned since the 1969 Apollo 11 mission.
Brown, 25, tweeted his response to a video of Neil Armstrong refusing to swear on a Bible that he stepped foot on the moon.
“We got cars driving themselves but we can’t go back to the moon,” Brown tweeted. “Took me about 20 years to understand they been lying to us our entire lives.”
Brown also claimed that humans are living inside a globe they cannot escape, citing the Bible saying God created the “firmament.”
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs took to Twitter to agree with Brown, who has since deleted the original tweet.
Trevon Diggs agrees with AJ Brown, moon landing was fake
Diggs, 24, quickly received backlash from one of his teammates after he agreed with Brown’s controversial take.
Cowboys CB Jourdan Lewis told Diggs that he and Brown are “playing a dangerous game” by spewing the age-old conspiracy theory, which has been debunked countless times.
This is not the first time Brown has ranted about the moon landing conspiracy theory.
During his past birthday, the Eagles receiver went on a wild tangent regarding time, but also claimed the moon landing did not happen.
Brown stated he might not even be his age because the calendar should actually have 13 months.
