Watch: Tucker Carlson spouts conspiracy theories about 9/11, Ukraine and UFOs in new show

Tucker Carlson launched his new show on Twitter on Tuesday, spouting 9/11, Ukraine and UFO conspiracies.

The former prime time Fox News host gave a 10-minute monologue as he spoke for the first time since being ousted by the cable network.

He opened with a pro-Kremlin rant, describing Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, as “sweaty and rat-like” and a “persecutor of Christians”.

Carlson claimed it was “obvious” that Ukraine was responsible for the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam on Tuesday.

“No one who’s paid to cover these things seems to entertain even the possibility it could have been Ukrainians who did it. No chance of that,” said Carlson.

He added sarcastically: “Mr Zelensky is a very good man… of all the people in the world, our shifty, dead-eyed Ukrainian friend in the tracksuit is uniquely incapable of blowing up a dam. He’s literally a living saint, a man in whom there is no sin.”

‘What exactly happened on 9/11? Well, it’s still classified’

Carlson then drew his audience’s attention to other times the US media had supposedly failed to report on stories to “deceive” American citizens.

“What’s happened to the hundreds of billions of US dollars we’ve sent to Ukraine? No clue,” he said.

“Who organised those Black Lives Matter riots three years ago? No one’s gotten to the bottom of that. What exactly happened on 9/11? Well, it’s still classified.”

‘UFOs are actually real’

Later, Carlson touched upon claims made by David Grusch, the US military intelligence veteran, that the government had recovered a UFO with bodies of alien pilots inside of it.

He remarked that neither the New York Times nor the Washington Post had reported on it.

“That’s what the former intel officer revealed, and it was clear he was telling the truth,” Carlson said. “In other words, UFOs are actually real, and apparently so is extraterrestrial life.

“Now, in a normal country, this news would qualify as a bombshell the story of the millennium. But in our country, it doesn’t.”

Carlson, who was once a top anchor on Fox News, was dropped by the broadcaster after it was ordered to pay Dominion voting systems $787 million in a defamation lawsuit for suggesting its equipment played a part in vote-rigging in the 2020 presidential election.

His new show on Twitter was announced by Elon Musk last month.

Mr Musk retweeted the video, saying it “would be great to have shows from all parts of the political spectrum on this platform”.
