UFOs in Washington – ABC Radio National

The US congress last week heard remarkable testimonies by former military officers on the existence of UFOs, or what are now referred to as UAP’s, ‘unidentified anomalous phenomena’. 

At the heart of the testimonies was a complaint about a lack of government transparency about what it might know about these phenomena, and a stigma felt by military personnel around reporting them. But the committee also heard the sensational claim by one whistleblower that the federal government was hiding a decades-long program of retrieving crashed UAPs which allegedly contained non-human remains.

But was the hearing more spectacle than science?
