NASA director calls bunk on existence of UFOs: ‘Absolutely not’

She thinks E.T. is B.S.

A top member of NASA brass is doubling down that Earthlings have yet to observe a UFO of alien origin — her remarks coming amid extra interest in extraterrestrials fueled by bombshell congressional hearings and alien whistleblowers.

When Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) director Dr. Laurie Leshin was asked by FOX10 Phoenix last week if she had “seen spacecraft made from outside of this world,” she had an out-of-this-world response.

“Absolutely not,” Leshin said with a laugh and head shake. “No.”

The director — whose lab had a graceful recovery after accidentally switching off contact with deep space probe Voyager 2 recently — isn’t naive to the heightened speculation on otherworldly phenomena.

Recent testimony from former Pentagon operative David Grusch claims that the US government is in receipt of “non-human spacecraft,” based on his interviews with 40 witnesses over four years.

The hearings also revealed that several members of Congress have their own eyewitness UFO accounts — just like that of former President Jimmy Carter, who formally documented his sighting.

“I mean, look, there’s clearly a lot of interest,” Leshin added to FOX10. “Our interest is in actually scientifically following the evidence and looking for life elsewhere, and I think we have the chance within our lifetimes to answer that question.”

In other words, the truth is out there, but we just haven’t found it — yet.

“One of our biggest ambitions at JPL is to find life elsewhere. We’re trying to explore all kinds of places in our solar system and beyond that might have life,” Leshin said.

“…whether it’s intelligent life — that would be very interesting, obviously.”

Not long ago, the JPL reanalyzed Voyager 2 data from the 1980s that now points to signs of life on several moons orbiting Uranus. It could exist due to “oceans that could be dozens of miles deep” beneath the lunar surfaces.

Organic molecules that could spell out the “key building blocks for life” were recently discovered on Mars by NASA as well.

“If you’re a scientist, the biggest question you can ask is, ‘Are we alone in the universe?’” said Leshin.

“So that is what we’re trying to answer. We’re on the precipice of it.”
