QAnon supporter accused of killing Marion County man in 2020 takes stand during 4th day of trial
OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – A woman accused of killing a man in Marion County in 2020 took the stand Thursday during the fourth day of her trial.
Her mother and sister also took the stand.
On Wednesday, QAnon supporter Neely Petrie Blanchard told the judge she felt she wasn’t receiving a fair trial and requested a lawyer.
Judge Lisa Herndon denied the request because Blanchard had previously decided to represent herself.
That night Neely’s sister, Savannah Hendricks, told TV20 she received a call from Neely at the jail. Neely says she was immediately put in a medical care unit for suicide watch after returning from court where should couldn’t access items to prepare for her defense.
“You know, I know that everybody had a job to do, and I know that you know, but I’ve had to basically live with law enforcement for three and a half years,” Neely said.
Marion County deputies say she shot and killed Christopher Hallett in November 2020. Blanchard believed that Hallett would help her regain custody of her kids because his company E-Clause claimed to assist people who lost custody of their children.

Throughout Neely’s testimony on Thursday, she said things like “Our country is corrupt” and “The system is designed to not let you in.”
Prosecutors showed an email from Neely’s mother stating that Neely is unfit to be a mother.
Neely also said she missed Hallett every day and regrets what she did.
The trial is expected to continue tomorrow.
