Laura Loomer Pushes 9/11 Conspiracy Theory Two Days After Attending Anniversary Memorials With Donald Trump
Laura Loomer, the virulent bigot and friend of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, pushed a 9/11 conspiracy theory on social media on Friday morning, just two days after she attended events commemorating the anniversary of the terrorist attacks with Trump.
Loomer made headlines for traveling with Trump to Philadelphia for his debate with Democratic nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday, and made more still after she accompanied him to 9/11 memorial events in New York City and Shanksville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday. She has previously claimed that “9/11 was an Inside Job!” and tried to tie it to former President George W. Bush’s administration.
But despite the negative press she’s brought to Trump’s campaign — she has previously predicted that she would serve as his press secretary and “protect him from all of his enemies and haters” — Loomer doubled down on her conspiracy theorizing Friday morning.
“23 years later, and there’s still a lot of unanswered questions. The 9/11 documents are still classified to this day. The American people deserve to know the entire truth. Not just what our lying government chose to tell us,” wrote Loomer on X, attaching a video of Trump speculating back in 2001 that there may have been bombs placed in the Twin Towers.
“There’s so many unanswered questions… Why?” continued Loomer.
She followed that up with a second tweet in which she advised her followers “PS: Whatever you do….Do NOT google Building 7.” Many 9/11 conspiracy theorists use the collapse of 7 World Trade Center to support their theories that the buildings collapsed as a result of a controlled demolition. An investigation found that the structure failed as a result of intense fires started by debris falling from the North Tower.
In addition to her 9/11 conspiracy theories, Loomer has celebrated the deaths of migrants who drowned in the Mediterranean Sea and echoed Trump’s claims that Harris is not actually Black.
