Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Tinfoil Hat Post Has Critics Saying Same Mocking Thing
Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) this weekend shared on social media a picture of someone wearing a tinfoil hat with the caption, “Almost everyone in America right now.”
“Yep,” the Donald Trump acolyte agreed with that statement on X, formerly Twitter.
The post prompted mocking backlash ― and accusations of “projection” ― as critics reminded Greene of her own peddling of conspiracy theories.
Only earlier this month, Greene claimed “they can control the weather” as she appeared to insinuate that Democrats were somehow behind Hurricane Helene, a move presumably intended to boost Trump’s chances in the 2024 election.
Greene has previously embraced the baseless QAnon conspiracy theory, hailed the drinking of raw milk (against official advice), blamed wildfires on Jewish space lasers, compared Trump to Jesus Christ and in 2022 spoke at a white supremacist conference.
When former BBC news anchor Emily Maitlis in March quizzed Greene over her pushing of such debunked claims, Greene told Maitlis to, “Fuck off,” and then walked away.
Pretty sure that’s just you and your buddies…

Projection. You got foil running through your veins.
