Does Kyrie Irving still say the ‘earth is flat’ 7 years later ?(video)
Hardcore fans recall that time when NBA superstar Kyrie Irving was the object of scorn and mockery when he made the notorious claim that the “earth is flat” in 2017.
Irving, one of the most gifted and versatile offensive juggernauts of this generation, if not one of the most talented in the history of the game, revisited the self-created debacle when he visited the Kai Cenat live stream on Friday, Nov. 29.
“Do I still think the Earth is flat?” he said. “By the way, I got in so much trouble for that. Y’all be careful with that, man, because a lot of people believe the Earth is flat or believe it’s round.”

Irving’s non-answer answer
Irving added that he believes he was subjected to widespread ridicule because he was one of the best and most admired players in the game at that time when he was LeBron James’ teammate. The two paired up to win the Cleveland Cavaliers’ first NBA championship in 2016.
“But the thing about it is it’s been said in history before, right? People have said that the Earth is flat. But at the end of the day, it’s not about whether it’s flat, it’s questioning what is going around you. … I was labeled as a conspiracy theorist.”
After that 2017 fiasco, Irving instructed the populace to “do their own research,” and then tried to say he was joking. However, when Irving asked about his comments in 2018, he changed course. “I don’t know,” he said, according to Newsweek. “It’s fun to think about though.”
