Seed oils have faced a lot of heat in recent times. In the US, Donald Trump’s controversial pick for Health Secretary, Robert F Kennedy Jr, has said Americans risk being “unknowingly poisoned” by seed oils, which he calls “one of the worst things you can eat.”
Social media platforms have been flooded with criticisms of seed oils, linking them with increased inflammation and numerous chronic health conditions. So what exactly are seed oils, and should we be worried about them?
