Tetanus vaccines are not necessary and they can cause harm, even death

The CDC recommends boosters of the tetanus vaccines every 10 years.  But is it necessary?  And, instead of being beneficial, is it harmful?

Evidence shows that the tetanus vaccine was never necessary and causes harm.  Apart from the harms caused by heavy metals such as aluminium and mercury, the vaccines contain milk proteins, which can cause anaphylaxis in susceptible children and adults.

The vaccine is also recommended for pregnant women despite no adequate safety studies on the developing foetus being conducted.

The following is an overview of an article written by Marcella Piper-Terry in which she discusses the tetanus vaccine; whether it is safe, effective or even necessary.

When the tetanus vaccines were first deployed en masse in the late 1940s, deaths from tetanus were already in decline.  Vaccines played a minimal role in the decrease in deaths from tetanus. Much more significant factors were improvements in sanitation and the advent of the automobile, which contributed to reducing the presence of horse manure in the streets. These changes had a far greater impact on the reduction of both cases and fatalities from tetanus.

Among the misinformation disseminated about tetanus is that there is no cure, for example, as the Mayo Clinic states HERE.  Piper-Terry highlights one cure that is overlooked.  “In this study, IV vitamin C (one gramme per day) resulted in a 100% reduction in case-fatality rate in patients 12 years and under, and a 45% reduction in case-fatality rate in patients aged 13-30 years. The lower efficacy in older teens and adults is most likely because the dose was not high enough,” Piper-Terry said.

As well as being unnecessary, the tetanus vaccines are unsafe.  For people living in the United States or other developed countries, the risk of dying from tetanus is approximately 1 in 44 million. Even if we consider the ridiculous claim that serious vaccine injuries occur at a rate of 1 in 1 million, the likelihood of experiencing a severe injury from the tetanus vaccine would still be 44 times greater than the chance of dying from tetanus.

Describing some of the harms the vaccines cause, Piper-Terry explained that all licensed vaccines in the United States for tetanus contain high amounts of aluminium. All tetanus vaccines also contain formaldehyde. Additionally, some contain polysorbate 80 and mercury in the form of Thimerosal.

In addition to the heavy metals, all of the DTaP, Tdap, and DT* vaccines are cultured on casamino acids, (a mixture of amino acids produced from the acid hydrolysis of casein, a protein found in mammalian milk, in this case cow’s milk) and the final product – which is injected into babies, infants, children and adults – contains cow’s milk protein.

*Note: DTaP is Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (whooping cough). Tdap is Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. DT is Diphtheria and Tetanus.

The harmful effects of the vaccine ingredients can be deadly.  After a quick search, Piper-Terry found 3,209 deaths that have been reported to VAERS from tetanus-containing vaccines. Keep in mind that less than 1% of even the most serious adverse reactions to vaccines are reported.

One reason some people die from the vaccine is due to anaphylaxis, which is a severe allergic reaction to one of the vaccine’s components. The inserts provided by the vaccine manufacturers include warnings about this risk. They specify that people who have previously experienced a severe allergic reaction or have known allergies to ANY of the vaccine’s ingredients should not receive the vaccine:

Many people have allergies to cow’s milk. Anaphylaxis from DTaP and Tdap vaccines in people with milk allergies has been recognised since at least 2011.  Has your doctor warned you?

Piper-Terry also demonstrates, through documentation, that the tetanus vaccines have not been adequately tested for safety in pregnant women.  One of the motivating factors for not conducting proper safety studies is money.  Using a back of a fag packet calculation, she estimated that the tetanus vaccine market in the US for pregnant women is $190 million every year.

“I would say that a hundred and ninety million dollars in sales per year is a very strong motivator that could have influenced the researchers to ensure their findings state that the Tdap vaccine in every pregnancy is ‘safe’,” she wrote.

There is much more money to be made from the vaccines than from vaccinating pregnant women.  The “tetanus shot” is no longer a single vaccine, but rather DTaP for infants and children up to 7 years, and Tdap for adults and children 7 and up.

The World Health Organisation does not recommend tetanus boosters for adults who have received the initial childhood series.  However, the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) continues to recommend boosters every 10 years.  Why?

By advocating for booster injections every 10 years, the pharmaceutical lobby and the US government agencies that benefit financially from the sales of vaccines and make the recommendations for their use, through the child and adult vaccination schedules, have increased their sales by an estimated $2 billion over the last 8 years, Piper-Terry said.

Money is a very strong motivator for nefarious behaviour in the research sector. But is it the only motivator? No. 

Concerns have been raised for years that the Tdap vaccine has been used as a form of population control.  There is evidence of human chorionic gonadotropin (“hCG”) antigen being found in tetanus vaccines which were used in a mass vaccination campaign in Kenya.  HCG can cause miscarriages and sterilisation.  Listen to what Dr. Carrie Madej says in the first couple of minutes, starting from where the video below is embedded (start at timestamp 13:01):
