Neuroscientists named on patent for early Chinese covid vaccine raises questions about known neurological effects of SARS-CoV-2

Chinese neuroscientists, including two neuroscientists from the Institute of Military Cognition and Brain Sciences, were involved in the development of China’s first covid vaccine patent, which was filed on 24 February 2020.

The presence of neuroscientists in the Chinese vaccine development process has raised questions for US federal investigators, as it was not known in the West at the time that SARS-CoV-2 caused neurological symptoms.

The following is paraphrased from the article ‘Chinese neuroscientists’ work on early covid-19 vaccine patent a smoking gun in probe of cover-up’ published by Just the News on 11 June 2025.

Please note that official sources and/or sources that are protecting the pandemic-vaccine industry will only refer to covid infection.  They will not admit that it is the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein that is the pathological agent or bioweapon.  Why? 

They will not publicly mention the pathogenicity of the spike protein because if they did, they would have to admit that the spike protein, the bioweapon, which is in all covid injections – inactivated virus vaccines, viral vector vaccines and as encoded in the mRNA vaccines – is causing the harm that they claim is caused by a covid infection.  It is a case of sifting through the propaganda to find the underlying truth within the narrative, rather than being triggered by the words they use.  For example, in this case, where there is a reference to “covid infection,” read it as “covid injection.”

If SARS-CoV-2 was released or “leaked” in late 2019 or early 2020 in an attempt to start a pandemic, it was unsuccessful because it did not cause a pandemic and people who were infected experienced seasonal cold or flu-like symptoms.  The real pandemic of a variety of diseases and conditions began with the rollout of the so-called covid “vaccines”; in short, it was infection by injection, which has resulted in a pandemic of the vaccinated.

As we read a summary of Just the News’ article below, we should also recall that Moderna, together with the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (“NIAID”), sent mRNA coronavirus vaccine candidates to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on 12 December 2019, even though there was no threat posed, real, perceived or manufactured, by a coronavirus at the time.  Not only is this relevant because of the nature of the vaccines but where they were sent is also relevant.

Dr. David Martin has repeatedly publicised that since 2002, there has not been a naturally occurring coronavirus. “[Since 2002] there has been an engineered pathogen.  Engineered by Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where, in 2002, he patented the ‘infectious, replication defective, clone of coronavirus’,” he said on The Alex Jones Show last year.  In other words, since 2002, Ralph Baric and others have been developing bioweapons using coronavirus as a platform. 

Coronaviruses are one of the viruses that cause common colds in winter or early spring.  What Dr. Martin is implying is that every year since 2002, common colds attributed to coronaviruses have been caused by a man-made virus.  This is confirmed by the UK’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (“CBRN”) guidance for the NHS, emergency and public health agencies.  “Human coronaviruses do not currently occur naturally in the UK … The first highly pathogenic human coronavirus diseases emerged in 2003 (SARS coronavirus) … SARS was first identified in Southern China in late 2002,” Public Health England guidance states.

The Trump Administration is investigating a potential cover-up of the origins of the covid pandemic, and one key piece of evidence is a Chinese patent for a covid vaccine that was filed remarkably quickly, just one month after the virus was first detected in the United States.

The patent, which was submitted by three Chinese entities, including two located at the Academy of Military Sciences in Beijing, describes a process for preparing a “covid-19 protein vaccine” and a drug for preventing or treating the virus.  It lists eleven Chinese scientists as inventors, including Zhou Yusen, director of the State Key Laboratory of Pathogen and Biosecurity at the Academy of Military Sciences.  Zhou has previously researched and developed vaccines for SARS and MERS, two variations of coronaviruses similar to SARS-CoV-2.

Two of the scientists listed as inventors, Yan Li and Gencheng Han, are affiliated with the Institute of Military Cognition and Brain Sciences at the Beijing Academy of Military Sciences, which is a component of the Chinese military.  This has raised suspicions among federal officials because these scientists specialise in neurology, and at the time, covid’s neurological symptoms were largely unknown in the West.  The focus of Western scientists at the time was on the respiratory and digestive symptoms of the virus, rather than its neurological effects.

The involvement of these researchers in vaccine studies suggests an interest in the vaccine’s protection against SARS-CoV-2 early in the outbreak, before evidence of its neurological effects was widely known, and may be related to the discovery of long-term neurological symptoms in patients previously infected with covid-19, including neurocognitive deficits and sleep disturbances.

Research has shown that covid-19 can have significant neurological effects, including an increased risk of neurological symptoms such as ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke, cognition and memory disorders, and peripheral nervous system disorders, and that some of the earliest research on these symptoms was conducted by Chinese scientists who submitted a vaccine patent shortly after data collection began.

China’s Military Strategy

The Institute of Military Cognition and Brain Sciences is pursuing research into the Chinese military’s goal of achieving “mental/cognitive dominance,” which is believed to be important for future military conflicts.  This has led some officials, including Rep. Darin LaHood, to suggest that China’s actions, including the cover-up of the early emergence of covid, are part of a larger strategy to replace the United States as a global power.

Rep. Darin LaHood has stated that China is engaged in a comprehensive strategy to surpass the United States technologically, militarily, economically and diplomatically, and that the covid pandemic is just one part of this larger plan, which also includes the use of companies like Huawei and TikTok to gather intelligence and influence public opinion.

Chinese military strategists, including those at the Institute of Military Cognition and Brain Sciences, are developing new methods for using neurology to gain advantages on the battlefield, which may be connected to the covid-19 vaccine research and patent process.

Elsa Kania, Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Centre for New American Security, has written about the potential for neurology to be used to undermine an adversary’s capacity for cognition, and has noted the involvement of another researcher at the Institute of Military Cognition and Brain Sciences, Zhou Jin, in both brain science and neural engineering, as well as in an expert group on psychological warfare and cognitive technology.

Lab Origin Theory

The suspected early knowledge of neurological systems and the unusual circumstances surrounding the world’s first covid vaccine patent may provide further evidence to support the theory that the novel coronavirus was not of natural origin, but instead manufactured in a laboratory.  A theory that is being investigated further in light of a recently released study by US Defence Intelligence Agency (“DIA”) scientists that concluded SARS-CoV-2 was likely genetically manufactured and escaped a Chinese lab.

The DIA National Centre for Medical Intelligence presentation revealed that Chinese neuroscientists had concluded that the SARS-CoV-2 Spike appears to be a chimaera, which is a scientifically engineered pathogen combining pieces from two separate viruses.

The study utilised complex genome analysis to trace the process of creating the new virus, linking it to an earlier manuscript published by the Wuhan Institute of Virology approximately a decade prior.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology’s earlier manuscript suggests that there was ongoing genetic research into coronaviruses at the laboratory, which has a history of close collaboration with the Chinese military, as assessed by the US intelligence community.
