French court charges Renault with deceit in dieselgate probe
A French court has charged France-based carmaker Renault SA with deception over a diesel emissions probe that was launched in 2017 to investigate suspected emission test manipulations in some old Renault models, Reuters reported. French prosecutors, in a 2019 report, said that they found some Renault cars producing more than 10 times higher on-the-road nitrogen oxide emissions when compared to the regulatory limits. Renault has denied any wrongdoing.
