Dozens of followers of the QAnon movement were drawn to Dallas yesterday by a theory that John F Kennedy Jr would reveal that he had faked his death and intended to serve as vice-president under a re-elected Donald Trump.
Several prolific QAnon conspiracy theorists spread online prophecies that the former president’s son, who died in a plane crash in 1999 aged 39, would appear at Dealey Plaza, the spot where his father was assassinated in 1963.
