Great Reset

Guest Column: COVID-19 response — the narrative is falling apart

The COVID-19 narrative is falling apart at the seams. Governing bodies left and right are abolishing all diktats, from masks wearing in schools to COVID-19 passports, COVID-19 QR codes and the like. As a bizarre twist of irony, the European Union wants to preserve the QR code for at least a year. So they can finally find a legitimate reason/excuse for wanting it in the first place?

Nothing galvanized regular citizens around the world more quickly than Canada’s prime minister responding to truckers demonstrating in Ottawa: “Unacceptable views from a fringe minority.”

He will chew on those words for the rest of his life.

What we have witnessed and lived through here the past two years is a public health debacle of historic proportions, global in scope and with repercussions on numerous levels. All of that is for another day.

In this essay I want to list 17 questions, briefly, as a memory aid to make sure such nonsense will never happen again in free societies. The questions are aimed at four groups:

  • Federal and international public health bureaucracies that purport to supervise and protect our public health. Of particular interest is the World Health Organization — infested as it is with conflicts of interest especially in the realm of Big Pharma and vaccines;
  • Members of the political class — especially those in Western societies who have warmed to insular, elitist ideas concocted in trans-national organizations like the World Economic Forum while displaying pathological disdain for very the citizens on whom they depend for their votes;
  • The mainstream media that have shown a bizarre and prolonged lack of curiosity informing their inability or unwillingness to raise questions about public health policy mandates that never made sense to begin with. Further destructive was and still is their readiness to vilify anyone who had a different opinion, even those with the highest credentials in their respective fields;
  • Mainstream academia, which should have maintained at least a modicum of distance from politicians and bureaucrats by casting light on what is science and what is propaganda.

The following questions are meant to examine the legitimacy of the COVID-19 narrative as it unfolded since February 2020:

  1. Why the total disregard for early intervention and for the potential of repurposing existing medications;
  2. Why sideline the regular, primary-care-provider, causing a run on hospitals — thereby exacerbating individual cases of infection;
  3. Why mandate face masks, knowing full well that the World Health Organization itself questioned the effectiveness of such measures;
  4. Why the tardy, unenthusiastic recognition that ventilation is key to diminishing viral loads, especially in settings like nursing homes;
  5. Why the total absence of emphasis on prevention, like Vitamin D;
  6. Why the lockdowns, knowing full well that the World Health Organization itself recommended against it;
  7. Why the forced wait for novel vaccines and why the exclusive emphasis on vaccines at the exclusion of everything else;
  8. Why the absence of randomized serology tests across the country to scope out the dimensions of natural immunity early on, for example in April of 2020 — a huge opportunity for learning lost;
  9. Why was COVID-19 placed on the A-list of most dangerous viruses, even though early on it was clear such a decision was completely unjustified;
  10. Why did Dr. Fauci authorize higher reimbursement to hospitals for COVID-19 patients compared to other treatments?
  11. Why was there a total disregard for the difference between deaths “because of COVID-19” versus deaths “with COVID-19” — common sense attention to this issue would have resulted in a completely different strategy;
  12. Why didn’t the CDC dispel the distorted myths that circulated about (the lack of) natural immunity?
  13. Why the aggressive promotion of the PCR test knowing full well the limits of that test?
  14. Why the murky origin of the story — why the less than forthcoming attitude of Dr. Fauci on gain-of-function research — it provides ongoing fuel for the suspicion that the arsonist is dressed up as the fire marshal;
  15. Why the complete and total disregard for the concept of “total cost of lockdowns” instead of the narrow focus on COVID-19 only. As has been obvious from the very beginning, the total cost of the lockdowns far exceeded anything that COVID-19 had to offer in terms of threats to society. Not just in economic terms, but in terms of life years lost;
  16. Why the blatant disregard for clear-as-a-bell mortality data that show excess mortality in age groups that should never have been hurt by COVID-19 to begin with.
  17. Why did the World Economic Forum jump on the pandemic bandwagon and labeled it — out of the blue — as an opportunity to introduce the Great Reset? Why did this morph into the Build Back Better program, parroted by governments across the globe? It took Dr. Klaus Schwab exactly four months from the start of the lockdowns to pen a book called “The Great Reset.” Did he have advance knowledge of what was coming? After all, in October 2019, the WEF had sponsored — together with Bill Gates — a Johns Hopkins pandemic preparedness conference in New York.

Here you have it— 17 questions. Don’t forget and don’t let the credentialed class off the hook. Over 100 years ago, Sigmund Freud propagated the notion that it is the masses who from time to time display signs of dangerous group behavior.

I want to turn it around. To my way of thinking, COVID-19 has demonstrated that common citizens (as exemplified by the Canadian truckers) individually have more sense in their bones than Justin Trudeau, Klaus Schwab, uncle Joe, Boris Johnson and the Mark Rutte and their hangers-on combined.

Maybe, just maybe, we are witnessing the collapse of what very quickly morphed into a medical tyranny, the likes of which the world has never seen before.

Let it make way for the return of the sovereign citizen, the individual who educates himself or herself on his or her own volition, dismissing all forms of propaganda and the poison of “manufactured consent.” In the 21st century, it is the sovereign citizen who will lead the way to freedom.
