2020 Election

Mike Lindell asking Elon Musk to probe baseless election fraud claims

  • Mike Lindell has appealed to Elon Musk to have a one-to-one meeting with him.
  • Lindell says the session would involve him showing Musk proof of baseless election fraud claims.
  • Lindell cited Musk’s focus on “free speech” and his “big presence” as reasons for the appeal.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is looking for another high-profile ally, and it appears he thinks he’s found it in Tesla and SpaceX billionaire Elon Musk.

Lindell issued a public invitation to Musk in a video posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday captioned, “I challenge Elon Musk to a sit down to review the BOMBSHELL PROOF.”

“Elon Musk, if you’re watching — I want to reach out to Elon Musk, and not for any other reason other than he’s got a big a big presence out there right now,” Lindell said.

Lindell added that Musk is “all over the news” and “driving the left crazy” by trying to “woo conservatives.”

“Well, my thing is, I’d like to sit down with Elon myself, one-on-one, and show him, in a little 15-minute presentation. I have to say, here’s where we’re at. This is what they did,” Lindell said. “You flew to the moon or wherever, outer space. Well, here’s the cyber stuff, Elon.”

Lindell also appealed for Musk’s aid in his campaign against voting machines. “Don’t even think about free speech. If we don’t get these machines gone, we lose everything,” he said.

Lindell has spent over a year since the 2020 election promoting baseless claims that the election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. Most recently, he launched yet another effort to stop the use of voting machines in elections nationwide by bankrolling a legal push to do so in all 50 states, starting with Arizona.

The MyPillow CEO has also claimed that he has spent tens of millions pushing the former president’s voter-fraud claims.

Meanwhile, Musk said last week that he would be open to reversing Twitter’s ban on Trump, should the former’s deal to buy the platform go through. The billionaire, who has often been described as a libertarian, also said this week that he would be voting Republican in the next election despite having “overwhelmingly” voted Democrat in the past.

Representatives for Musk did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
