Letter: Congressional UFO talk makes a person wonder

I saw on the news that Congress is holding hearings on UFO sightings. I am glad Congress has recognized the imminent danger of Earth being invaded by little green men from Mars. This is a real danger to the well-being of our planet. It should be given the highest priority possible. Minor problems such as energy, inflation, the border, etc., can wait. Indeed, Congress can put these things on the back burner like do with anything else that affects our daily lives.

Is it possible these UFOs are scout ships from other planets investigating whether there is intelligent life on Earth? If that is the case, I sincerely doubt they will find any in Washington.
