Tory MP’s Covid vaccine conspiracy claims against British Heart …
A CONSERVATIVE MP has been challenged by one of the UK’s leading health charities over his claims it is involved in a cover-up over Covid vaccines.
Andrew Bridgen, the MP for North West Leicestershire, has campaigned for a halt to Covid vaccinations, claiming they caused heart problems.
He claimed in parliament that a senior figure in the British Heart Foundation was involved in “covering up clear data that reveals that the mRNA vaccine increases inflammation of the heart arteries”.
The charity said it “categorically” denied the allegations.
The British Medical Journal published a study in May this year which found that heart problems linked to Covid vaccines were “very rare or possibly rare”.
A Lancet study found that patients who had reported suffering from heart inflammation (myocarditis) after a Covid vaccine had “predominantly mild” symptoms and added that “few patients have required intensive treatment”.
Bridgen’s claims that the British Heart Foundation was involved in a conspiracy to cover up the potential harms of taking the Covid vaccine were dismissed by the charity.
A spokesperson told The Times: “The scientific consensus is that the benefits of Covid-19 vaccination, including a reduced risk of severe illness or death, far outweigh the very small risk of rare side effects like myocarditis or pericarditis for the vast majority of people, especially as people get older.
“Scientific evidence shows that Covid-19 itself is much more likely to cause myocarditis than the vaccine is, and people who are vaccinated have a much lower risk of getting other serious complications caused by Covid-19.

“We employ a small leadership team of senior scientists and cardiologists to oversee and administer our research funding programmes, who also continue to undertake some of their own research. We can categorically say that nobody within this leadership team has acted in the way claimed by Mr Bridgen.”
During his Westminster Hall debate on “vaccine harms” on December 13, Bridgen said: “It has also been brought to my attention by a whistleblower from a very reliable source that one of these institutions is covering up clear data that reveals that the mRNA vaccine increases inflammation of the heart arteries.
“It is covering this up for fear that it may lose funding from the pharmaceutical industry.
“The lead of that cardiology research department has a prominent leadership role with the British Heart Foundation, and I am disappointed to say that he has sent out non-disclosure agreements to his research team to ensure that this important data never sees the light of day. That is an absolute disgrace.”

Bridgen has tweeted consistently in the past month about the potential harms of Covid vaccines.
Most recently, he said: “By suppressing the evidence of the harms caused by the mRNA vaccines the [mainstream media] have sealed their own fate.
“The public will never believe anything from them again. It’s the end of these mouthpieces of big Pharma and the super wealthy elite. This is the end of the controlled media.”
Bridgen was suspended from parliament for five days before Christmas after the Commons’ sleaze watchdog found he had committed a number of “very cavalier” breaches of lobbying rules.
