‘Imminent’ alien announcement to disclose truth ‘too terrible to be told’
Since a revealing report in 2017 exposed the US Government’s covert UFO research program, discussions about alien visitors have gradually moved from being fringe conspiracy theories to mainstream conversation. Recent developments have only added fuel to the fire; military experts have testified before Congress that the Pentagon conducted a “multi-decade” project aimed at retrieving and analyzing extraterrestrial debris.
Despite increasing evidence and mentions of a “non-human technological signature” detected by an Australian space telescope, we are still no closer to an official government admission of alien encounters. Nick Pope, who previously managed UFO sightings for the UK’s Ministry of Defence, has a chilling theory about this ongoing secrecy.
In a private exchange with Simon Holland, disclosed through a Reddit leak and confirmed by the Mirror, Pope shared his unsettling thoughts. Simon recently made global headlines by claiming that a satellite project affiliated with Oxford has found evidence of extraterrestrial life – a discovery he suggested could coincide with the US election on November 5.
However, in the leaked email, Nick urged extreme caution with any message intercepted by the alien study team, warning that it should be thoroughly examined before it is made public because “in case it contains a truth too terrible to be told.”
Nick offered his thoughts on the delayed disclosure about extraterrestrial life, saying: “I don’t believe that the US presidential election, or the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East or Ukraine have a bearing on the timescale. One factor that might have a bearing on timing relates to a scenario where the assessment is that we’re looking at not just a signal, but a message.”
He also speculated on the content of a potential extraterrestrial message: “It would be prudent to have a go at decoding the message before making an announcement – in case it contains a truth too terrible to be told.”
Nick shared with the Mirror some alarming theories, including humanity being an “a science experiment” for advanced aliens or that “aliens are demonic.” Professor Simon Holland found Nick Pope’s insights “deeply disturbing,” and other experts have expressed concern that the human psyche may not withstand the shock of encountering an actual alien race.
Pope weighed in on the discussion about humanity’s readiness for extraterrestrial disclosure, triggered by worldwide events and the staggering response to the pandemic. He confessed a change in his stance on the matter, saying: “I believed people were ready for Disclosure. The response to Covid made me rethink this. I overestimated societal resilience, and underestimated the panic generated by something unfamiliar and threatening.”
Adding to his unconventional perspectives, Pope has floated another idea suggesting that our existence might be a grand-scale simulation created by superior beings, expressing unusual inconsistencies in science.
“Often in cosmology, there seems to be a disconnect between theory and observation,” he observed. “In religious terms, it would be as if several different gods all had a hand in creating the universe, and all had their different styles.”
