What is the Great Reset? – The Sidney Sun-Telegraph
When discussing the Great Reset, it’s vital to understand what it is, and what it is not. It’s not a conspiracy theory.
It’s proponents say upfront what it is on the website https://www.weforum.org/great-reset.
It’s also not a shady secret organization made up of Bond-villain-like power players. It is an effort driven by misguided wealthy and powerful globalists who are very open about what they envision and their pursuit of a global collectivist agenda with tentacles reaching into nearly every part of human existence.
The Great Resets objectives appear noble. End racism, inequality, poverty and widespread disease. Only when one takes the time to dig deep into just HOW it accomplishes such goals does it become apparent that the Great Reset is an existential threat to America as founded. The movement intends to market its agenda under the broad umbrellas of climate change, global economic reforms, public safety and health, and major technological advancement. Sounds great. But then we get into the details.
There is nowhere near the room in a newspaper column to print all you need to know about the Great Reset. While its stated objectives are public, reading all the material takes time. The Reset is so complex and far along that I suspect it is counting on Americans and free people across the globe lacking the interest, time and tenacity to fight it.
For example, the Reset website lists the following as partners in just one of its initiatives – The Fourth Industrial Revolution… MESS Turkey, Motsepe Foundation, Reliance Industries, Salesforce, Accenture, AIFC, Bracell, Deloitte, Eletrobras, Facebook, Hitachi, Huawei, Kaiser Permanente, Koç Holding, Latham & Watkins, McKinsey, Microsoft, Mitsubishi Chemical, Mori Building, NEC, Palantir, PwC, Qualcomm, Saudi Aramco, Sompo Holdings, Splunk, Suntory, Takeda, Visa, American Heart Association, Bahrain Economic Development Board, Baker McKenzie, Cyberdyne, DJI, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, HORIBA, IBM, IDEO, Inter-American Development Bank, Netflix, NTT Corporation, and Sberbank.
That list alone took 10 percent of my allotted space, but we must ask what common interests do Facebook, Microsoft, the Vaccine Alliance, Netflix, DJI (the world leader in camera drones), Visa, IBM, and the Bahrain Economic Development Board have with each other and the rest of the entities on that list? Read just one article on the site called, “There’s no vaccine for the infodemic – so how can we combat the virus of misinformation?” and you’ll get some clues.
The piece uses “misinformation” spread about the Covid-19 virus as a basis for the need to have a level of oversight over what people can post online globally. It boasts “So far, we’ve recruited 110,000 information volunteers, and we equip these information volunteers with the kind of knowledge about how misinformation spreads and ask them to serve as kind of ‘digital first-responders’ in those spaces where misinformation travels.” If you interpret that as “we have snitches watching what you write,” so do I. It also claims to see “the spread of misinformation as a global health crisis.” See where this is going? Whose truth will be allowed to see the light of day?
I’m out of space this week. Let the newspaper know if you want follow-up columns on this topic.
