Lunch & Learn in Freeport dives into JFK assassination facts and theories

The Senior Resource Center will host a Lunch & Learn event on Sept. 11. The program, titled “Facts & Myths in the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy,” will begin at noon at the center, 206 E. Stephenson St., Freeport.
The event will delve into the findings of the Warren Commission, which investigated Kennedy’s assassination, and examine why its conclusions have been questioned for decades, according to a community announcement.
The discussion will cover various conspiracy theories, including those involving the CIA and organized crime, as well as speculation about world leaders.
A guest speaker will guide attendees through the evidence and the ongoing debates surrounding the assassination. The talk is designed to be engaging and accessible for anyone interested in history or lively discussions.
