‘Conspiracy-driven’ network may be behind 5G mast attacks
A 44-year-old man has been charged with arson after a 5G mast was set on fire in west Belfast.
Officers from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze at the mast off the Whiterock Road, at the junction of Brittons Parade, on Sunday night.
Police described the act as “extremely reckless and dangerous”, adding that it was putting people “at serious risk”.
The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning.
