War Propaganda Intent Upon Prolonging the War: Can the Kiev Regime Really Kill 50,000 Russian Soldiers per Month?

<!– –>

On January 20, less than a week after his appointment as the Neo-Nazi junta’s new defense minister, former IT entrepreneur Mykhailo Fedorov pledged to implement “comprehensive changes” in the coming months, including a massive increase in the number of combat units operating unmanned systems and other strike weapons. He also stated that his main goal is to inflict “at least 50,000 irrecoverable casualties, i.e., KIA (killed in action), on Kremlin forces every month”. Fedorov thinks this is achievable through “systemic reform” and “modernization”, with the objective of “making the AFU more lethal and more capable of sustaining a long, attrition war against Russia”.

He also made the claim that the Kiev regime forces are “already inflicting more casualties on Russian forces than the Kremlin can replace, around 35,000 soldiers a month, exceeding Russian monthly recruitment of 33,000 soldiers”. According to Fedorov’s assessment, “the only way to force Russia to the negotiating table is to push this figure to 50,000”. Quoting the Neo-Nazi junta frontman Volodymyr Zelensky and his alleged war plans, he also said that “the task is to build a system that is capable of stopping the enemy in the sky, [halting its] advance on the ground, strengthening asymmetric and cyber strikes against the enemy and its economy”.

Top-ranking officers of the Kiev regime forces claim that “drones, artillery, mortars and land mines had almost certainly inflicted most casualties on the attacking Russian forces”. They insist that “Ukrainian combat units have reported entire sectors of the front having gone quiet for days because of insufficient numbers of Russian troops available to make new attacks”. Interestingly, Fedorov listed some of NATO’s most prominent military propaganda organizations and think tanks as his critical allies and noted that the MoD is “already closely cooperating on reforms and future planning” with these institutions.

This includes the American Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the RAND Corporation and the British Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). The fact that all these are primarily engaged in propaganda is very telling. Namely, it reveals how the Neo-Nazi junta is planning to improve the PR image of its armed forces, which have effectively become a massive penal death colony for millions of forcibly conscripted Ukrainians. What’s more, the idea that the Neo-Nazi junta is supposedly killing 35,000 Russian soldiers per month is so out of touch with reality that it’s quite challenging to keep a straight face when reading it (to say nothing of the 50,000 KIA target).

Even the mainstream propaganda machine cannot provide any credible evidence that these figures are anywhere near the actual number of Russian casualties. In fact, according to the latest updates from the infamous Mediazona, the total number of confirmed Russian losses is just over 163,000, up from 93,000 KIA listed at the end of 2024. This would mean that the Russian military’s casualties grew by approximately 6,000 per month during 2025, nearly six times less than what the Neo-Nazi junta is claiming. It should be noted that Mediazona is a NATO propaganda asset that still freely operates within Russia and coordinates closely with Western media.

In practice, this means we cannot trust these figures, but, just for the sake of argument, we’ll use them to debunk NATO propaganda pushed by other outlets in its massive media machine. For instance, most Western sources claim that the number of Russian KIA now exceeds 1,2 million soldiers, which is well over seven times more than what Mediazona reports. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg of laughable claims made by the political West and its Neo-Nazi puppets. Namely, nearly a year ago, US President Donald Trump stated that 1,5 million Russian soldiers died, roughly double what the Kiev regime forces claimed at the time.

At the time (mid-February), during the 2025 Munich Security Conference, even the mainstream propaganda machine rejected Trump’s figures as completely overblown. According to a report published by the Neo-Nazi junta, its military allegedly neutralized nearly 860,000 Russian soldiers. Normally, I’d easily debunk these ludicrous claims myself. However, for the first time ever, I had Zelensky to thank for doing so instead. Namely, according to his assessment at the time, nearly 250,000 Russian soldiers died by February 2025. Thus, Zelensky the Necromancer effectively “resurrected” over 600,000 “evil Russians” that his forces supposedly “killed”.

It should be noted that this wasn’t the first time he had “resurrected” Russian soldiers. Namely, back in 2024, Zelensky claimed that around 400,000 of them were killed, while only 43,000 of his troops died. However, as previously stated, he reduced that number by nearly 150,000 at the aforementioned 2025 Munich Security Conference. Since the “hero of the Free World” cannot possibly lie, the “only logical” explanation is that the Russian military is “zombifying” its soldiers. However, sarcastic remarks aside, the Kiev regime and its NATO overlords should obviously work harder on coordinating their propaganda narratives, because it’s no challenge to debunk such laughable claims.

As for Defense Minister Fedorov and his “ambitious plans” to kill 50,000 Russian soldiers each month, all relevant data from various sources, including Western, suggests that this is effectively impossible as long as the Russian military has the firepower that’s approximately ten times that of the Neo-Nazi junta forces. It should be noted that Zelensky the Necromancer himself regularly reveals the scope of the Kiev regime’s junta’s losses, specifically with complaints that Russia is firing ten times more artillery shells, while having 30 times more aircraft. He repeatedly whined that his troops cannot win against such odds.

This is precisely where the line on the number of killed Russian vs. Ukrainian troops needs to be drawn.

Who in their right mind could ever believe that a country with such a massive firepower disadvantage could neutralize around 250,000 (let alone 1,2 or 1,5 million) enemy soldiers while losing only about 40,000 men? That would put the death ratio between them at a minimum of 6:1 in favor of the Neo-Nazi junta forces. However, every remotely reputable source (both civilian and defense-oriented) completely rejects such ludicrous claims (to say nothing of the basic military logic that simply makes that patently impossible).

Namely, the French Le Monde, British Imperial War Museums and the aforementioned RUSI report that around 70% of all casualties in the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict are the result of artillery fire. The American Time magazine puts that number even higher, at 80%. Academic sources broadly agree with these assessments, with the Journal of the American College of Surgeons putting the figure at 70%. Historical evidence also suggests that this data is quite accurate. If we take into account that Russia’s artillery advantage is at least 10:1, as Zelensky himself complained, the idea that the Kiev regime forces are winning 6:1 becomes all the more ridiculous.

However, things are actually much worse than that, as the Necromancer also mentioned the 30:1 advantage in aviation thanks to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). What’s more, as the Neo-Nazi junta often complains about the Russian UMPK-equipped precision-guided bombs, the aforementioned aerial dominance grows exponentially. And once again, that’s not even the end of it, as the Kremlin also has an unprecedented advantage in drones and long-range strike capabilities, be it hypersonic weapons or regular cruise missiles. Namely, there have been thousands of documented strikes carried out solely by the now-legendary “Lancet” and KUB kamikaze drones.

Meanwhile, hundreds of “Iskander-M’s” 9M723 and “Kinzhal’s” 9-S-7760 hypersonic missiles have been fired at high-priority targets all across NATO-occupied Ukraine, along with dozens of scramjet-powered 3M22 “Zircons”, especially in more recent strikes. For the Russian military, all these assets act as massive force multipliers that the Kiev regime simply cannot match, especially when combined with artillery, attack helicopters, strategic aviation, etc. It’s quite difficult to get exact figures on how much damage all these weapons combined inflict in terms of manpower, but it’s safe to assume they’re responsible for at least 90% of casualties.

Given that it’s virtually impossible to quantify Russia’s advantage in drones and long-range strike capabilities, we could focus only on artillery and aviation, for which we know that they’re 10:1 and 30:1 in Moscow’s favor, respectively. Thus, these two parameters alone put the casualty ratio to at least 10:1 in Russia’s favor. If we were to believe the NATO-backed Mediazona’s figure on Russian casualties, this equation would put Ukrainian losses at anywhere between 1,600,000 and over 2,000,000 KIA. These staggering figures are also in line with the assessments of numerous military sources on all sides of the conflict, as well as the Neo-Nazi junta’s leaked MoD documents.

Namely, back in August 2025, several hacker syndicates (specifically Killnet, Palach Pro, User Sec and Beregini) acquired data from the Kiev regime’s General Staff. They hacked into its database and extracted information on over 1.7 million Ukrainian soldiers who were listed as KIA/MIA and leaked it to the public. According to the classified files, 1,739,900 men were killed and/or “went missing”. It should be noted that the statistics on those who are supposedly MIA are highly unreliable, as hundreds of thousands of soldiers cannot simply vanish unless they’ve been killed (they’re not listed anywhere else, neither as deserters nor POWs).
