Anna Paulina Luna Teases UFO Disclosure Today: What We Know
Florida Republican Anna Paulina Luna has hinted at a possible update on unidentified flying object (UFO) disclosure on Friday.
In a cryptic post on social media platform X, Luna wrote “8 a.m.,” followed by “EST.”
In recent months, the U.S. government has come under increasing pressure from lawmakers and the public to disclose details about sightings and investigations involving UFOs—also known as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs)—as part of a continuing political drive for greater transparency.
Why It Matters
Luna has been among the more outspoken voices on the topic of UFO disclosure, along with Missouri Congressman Eric Burlison and Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett.
A 2021 Pew Research survey found that a majority of Americans believe in life beyond our own planet.
President Donald Trump has said his administration would be releasing government files pertaining to the phenomena in the near future, adding to public interest.
What We Know
Luna has also reshared and pinned an April post in which she wrote, “read the Book of Enoch.”
Perhaps the best-known section of the non-canonical ancient text is the Book of the Watchers, which includes a story of “Watchers” who descend, take human wives, and produce violent giant offspring, while also imparting knowledge to humans.
In modern pop culture, some “ancient astronaut” or alien-oriented interpretations reframe Enoch’s supernatural beings and heavenly journeys in science-fiction terms—reading the Watchers as extraterrestrials, though scholarly responses are generally skeptical of such theories.
Luna, who chairs the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, had previously called on the Pentagon to deliver a tranche of videos relating to alleged UFO encounters, though she had reported an April 14 deadline for this was missed.

Luna also directed her followers shortly after her mysterious “8 a.m.” to view a recent episode of Joe Rogan’s eponymous podcast, in which Burchett featured as a guest.
In the episode, Burchett, of Tennessee’s 2nd Congressional District, alleged a longstanding government coverup since at least 1947—the year of the much-debated Roswell incident—and suggested he was skeptical of what any forthcoming disclosure may reveal. “They don’t give up that easy,” he said.
Meanwhile, some pastors have publicly said they attended a secretive meeting with officials where they were told disclosure was forthcoming, and warned that any revelations could raise theological questions.
What Happens Next
Luna’s posts signaled an update was forthcoming Friday morning.
