‘Glowing’ UFO spotted from Darwin apartment

A DARWIN teacher has captured mysterious orb-like UFOs from the balcony of his Waterfront apartment.

The sighting, just off the coast of Darwin Port, has left even one of the NT’s top UFO spotters baffled.

The teacher, who asked not to be identified, told the NT News he was watching the sunset over the sea from the balcony of his apartment last Tuesday when he noticed two strange dots hovering on the skyline.

“I grabbed my binoculars to get a closer look and saw these two glowing orb-like shapes in the sky,” he said.

“I’m not sure if it was aliens but it was really odd.

“They just stayed in place floating there for about 90 minutes before they suddenly disappeared.

“If you look closely at those pictures, you can see a small hole in the orbs – I’m guessing it could be a porthole of some sort.

“It’s not the first time I have noticed oddities in the sky.

“If you look regularly every night near over the sea there, you will notice odd things like a moving dot, which changes directions and will make two or three directional changes before fading away.”

The sighting happened about the same time that former politician and avid UFO spotter Gerry Wood said he saw two mysterious lights shining over the water at Peron Island North last Tuesday evening.

Mr Wood believes the separate UFO sightings may be related.

“Darwin to North Peron Island is about 117km so it would have had to travel a fair way north to be sighted,” he said.

“The lights we saw were separate all the time.”
