As Covid-19 takes hold. I am being asked to engage in a futile dialog more these days as President Trump and the Republicans are beginning to part ways, but his loyal supporters haven’t been listening and want to challenge me. I won’t delete them. I still think there is hope the truth will win out once the smoke clears and the mirrors are all broken.

Commonsense has become questionable and partisan. False medical theories making news on certain outlets. Remember when cigarettes were once healthy? When science learns, facts emerge and we understand what is true.

I often don’t respond to these fantasies, same as I don’t respond to flat-earthers. Even when they do their experiments to “prove” the Earth is flat and they produce a spherical earth outcome, they will not believe their own experiments.

Science has shown the Earth is 4 billion years old, yet people will cling to the 6,000-year-old story they were taught. And that’s OK. It doesn’t hurt anyone. But Covid-19 is not a story. So one by one, the people who have denied the existence and danger of Covid-19 are themselves becoming ill and dying. Yet it persists that, “it will one day disappear like a miracle,”

Every day a new “theory” hits the conservative airwaves.
