Conspiracy In Tennessee: State Senate Votes To Ban Weather Controlling Chemtrails From Planes

Contrails are condensation trails formed when water vapor from aircraft exhaust cools and condenses into ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

At first they appear like sharp, distinct lines directly behind a plane and become wider, cloud-like formations as they spread out farther behind the aircraft and blend with the sky. This is all natural based on atmospheric conditions (largely temperature and humidity).

But legislators in Tennessee are convinced that they’re really government weather control experiments, or targeting of civilians with poison – and the state’s senate has passed legislation to ban “chemtrails” within the state’s borders. Chemtrails is a conspiracy theory that the trails left by aircraft are chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed at high altitudes for nefarious and secret purposes.

SB 2691/HB 2063 is spearheaded by Representative Monty Fritts (R-Kingston) and Senator Steve Southerland (R-Morristown). Having passed the Senate it goes next to the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. The legislation states,

The intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight is prohibited.

The bill started out as a measure to expedite the filling of vacancies within the Tennessee Air Pollution Control Board, but got… amendments. And it passed 25 to 6.

The best thing about this story to me, of course, is an excuse to use national treasure and pilot Mike Wagner’s classic Chemtrails At Night:

The chemtrail conspiracy theory was supercharged in the 1990s by an Air Force report, “Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025.” It speculated on future technology for weather modification for military purposes, suggesting perhaps that the government was already manipulating the weather through chemical spraying from aircraft. The term “chemtrails” took off in the mid-90’s, across late night AM radio talk shows and early growth of a democratized internet. It was a natural outgrowth of lack of public understanding of atmospheric science, mistrust in government and official sources, and a desire to find patterns or intentions in natural phenomena.

The Tennessee Senate has definite Greg Abbott deploying the Texas National Guard to stave off an Obama takeover vibes.
