NJ vote fraud: Sherrill flings blame everywhere but herself

Were one foolish enough to listen to and believe Democrats, election fraud is as rare as cold fusion. The Democrat media does its part to downplay and suppress the regular revelations of fraud, and for the first time in recent memory, President Trump is actively pursuing investigations, largely in blue cities and states, such as Fulton County, Georgia, and in New Jersey.

The SAVE Act, which at least 80% of all Americans want, languishes in the Senate where Democrats, including military seditionist Elissa Slotkin, have admitted that if it passes, it will be very difficult for Democrats to win any election anywhere. In other words, if they can’t cheat, they can’t win. She said the quiet part out loud.

In his recent prime time address to the nation, President Trump said there were nearly 250,000 non-citizens registered to vote in Pennsylvania, Nevada, California and New Jersey, with more than 35,000 falsely enrolled there.  Not long thereafter, NJ Governor Mikie Sherrill admitted there were more than 6000 illegals on the voter rolls but claimed only about 400 voted. If you believe that, have I mentioned I’m a Nigerian Prince in exile and if you’ll give me your bank account numbers, I’ll deposit $100 million for safekeeping, and you can keep 20%?
Caught with her hand in the electoral cookie jar, Sherrill blamed New Jersey’s software vendor, and of course, Donald Trump:

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon was equally unimpressed: 

The Justice Department‘s top Civil Rights official accused New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill of criticizing President Donald Trump’s election integrity claims even though she already knew her administration was about to disclose a major voter registration problem.

In his July 16 address, Trump accused China of acquiring sensitive voter data and said U.S. intelligence agencies hid that revelation from the public while also alleging several Democrat-run states, including New Jersey, have large numbers of noncitizens registered to vote.

Department of Homeland Security data released in concert with the speech found more than 35,000 potential noncitizens are on the Garden State’s rolls.

“When the president came out with his Primetime speech last Thursday, I believe in the sequencing of events that has been laid out, she already knew that this revelation was forthcoming,” Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said.

Imagine that: a politician blaming Donald Trump for their own corruption and lying about pretty much everything. That must be as rare as election fraud. Sherrill wasn’t alone:

Following Trump’s address, Sherrill signed on to a statement with 23 other Democratic governors attempting to throw cold water on the president’s wide-ranging claims, calling him a liar, as Dhillon said.

“It’s deeply alarming that President Trump continues to try to undermine free and fair elections. No amount of lies and conspiracy theories can change the fact that our country’s elections have repeatedly been proven to be safe and secure,” read the rebuke, formally led by Kentucky Gov. Andrew Beshear.

IDEMIA, the international company that Sherrill blamed for a “data error,” didn’t take her accusation lying down. IDEMIA has been working with New Jersey for 40 years and made plain it’s their job to transmit voter data to the state, which is responsible for maintaining voter rolls:

“The voter registration information is transmitted to the New Jersey Department of State, Division of Elections, which is ultimately responsible for verifying eligibility to vote,” IDEMIA said. “Information submitted by IDEMIA must still be validated and adjudicated by the Division of Elections.” [skip]

“IDEMIA’s role is to transmit information through the motor vehicle system,” it added in a statement.

But the actual process for getting on the voter rolls in New Jersey is up to the state, IDEMIA insists.

Sherrill claimed the 6000+ illegals who were registered were faultless. They were automatically registered—there’s that software error—when they signed up for driver’s licenses and ID cards. She didn’t explain why New Jersey should be issuing those documents to illegals.

Of course, we must believe Sherrill. No Democrat-ruled state would ever countenance vote fraud, though it is kind of alarming how, now that we’re looking, we’re finding plenty of it, which is certainly Trump’s fault for looking.

But one thing is certain: it’s also the fault of congressional Republicans who can’t muster the party discipline and sufficiently stiffen their spines to pass the SAVE Act. That must be Trump’s fault too.
