UFOs

The release of the UFO files won’t satisfy conspiracy theorists – but it certainly serves Trump’s agenda | Daniel Lavelle

The US Department of Defense released the first batch of its UFO files last week at the direction of the president, Donald Trump, who promised to make them public “based on the tremendous interest shown”.Trump’s right, of course. Nearly half of Americans believe aliens have visited Earth, and many believe that the government is hoarding the evidence in some shadowy laboratory or military base. This conspiracy began in 1947 at Roswell, New Mexico, when the Roswell army airfield issued a news release about the crash of a “flying disc”, and has never truly gone away. But why now? The release of these files is partly due to a decade of sustained pressure by a group of dubious UFO lobbyists, such as “whistleblower” Luis Elizondo, Jeremy Corbell and Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge, who have tapped into the US’s bedrock of unreality and made a fortune in book deals, History Channel “documentaries” and speaking gigs. The UFO conspiracy also happens to be perfect for Trump. Releasing the files fits neatly into his playbook. Ever since descending the escalator in Trump Tower in 2015, the president has positioned himself as a political outsider who will expose the dark hand of the deep state that pulls the strings from the shadows.Conspiracy theories are closed feedback loops and offer convenient get-out clauses. If the files contain proof that the men from Ork are with us, Trump emerges as the hero. But when these files inevitably don’t provide the smoking raygun, he can claim that the deep state is so deep it can even hide information from the president. The UFO conspiracy also pleases his cronies. The vice-president, JD Vance, said he has an “obsession” with UFOs, but he doesn’t think their pilots are little green men – he thinks they are demons. The secretary of state, Marco Rubio, suggested in a UFO documentary that the government could be in possession of alien tech. The flying saucers also provide a decent hiding spot for Trump, a galactically unpopular president who is suffocating in scandal and calamity. These files are a great distraction from his unlawful actions in Venezuela and Iran. And if the first government release is anything to go by, then ufologists worldwide are going to be very disappointed. So far, the files have produced a rather underwhelming collection of unsubstantiated close encounters, images and videos featuring grainy blobs and blurs that don’t come close to evidence of an alien invasion. Some of these videos were debunked by eagle-eyed online sleuths almost as soon as they were released. One featuring a star-shaped UFO is almost certainly a flare attached to a parachute. Another recording appears to show a red orb eerily weaving between turbines on a windfarm, but the orb is probably a red balloon. Actually, scratch that. It is a red balloon.View image in fullscreenI used to think that little green men could be behind all these sightings. I was originally swayed by the modern UFO wave when the New York Times revealed in 2017 that the Pentagon had a secret UFO programme. The subsequent UFO hearings, featuring whistleblowers making outlandish claims about stowed spaceships and their “non-human” pilots, convinced me to travel across the US chasing aliens. By the end of my journey I had learned far more about human beings, especially those from the US, than about extraterrestrials.Far from being a cosmic visitor, ET represents a giant slice of Americana. It began shortly after the second world war, when the US emerged as the world’s superpower. Such a position creates a paradox. When you’re at your most powerful, you’re at your most vulnerable. Ask any alpha lion in the savannah. The postwar US was a place of fear, witch-hunts, blacklists and red scares followed by decades of scandal – think the JFK assassination, Vietnam and Watergate. The Hollywood sci-fi boom overlaid this terror of the other, of shadowy puppeteers. All of this history explains why aliens permeate the American mind.Even the most sophisticated and credentialed UFO enthusiasts appear to be influenced by their imagination and emotions rather than evidence. When I spoke to the Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb, who once speculated that a comet passing through the solar system could be debris from an alien spaceship, he envisioned aliens as enlightened sages who will descend on us with omniscient wisdom and shepherd us to a utopia. This struck me as a materialist version of god. Religion dressed in a white coat. This is not to say that conspiracies don’t exist. They do. But they usually take place right in the open. Believe it or not, the US government does not need to screw you behind your back. It does it straight to your face. In 2008, greedy Wall Street bankers wilfully broke the economy, the government bailed them out and people paid for it. It has spent most of the past two decades tearing up the social contract, and pointing the finger at minorities and migrants. When the perpetrators of this injustice say something I agree with, it can be difficult to swallow. For instance, I scarcely agree with a single word that spills from Marjorie Taylor Greene’s lips, but after the first tranche of files was published on Friday, she posted something that had been coursing through my mind for the last 10 years: “I’m so sick of the ‘look at the shiny object’ propaganda.”Greene is right: Americans should stop thinking about what their government might be hiding in the shadows and get angry about what it is actually doing under their noses. The truth is out there – it’s right in front of you. Daniel Lavelle’s new book, Chasing Aliens, was published on 30 April (Viking, £20). COVID-19

The Trump Administration Issues a Fake “True Origins of COVID 19” for Public Misinformation. “Pinning Everything on China”. Emanuel Pastreich

The Trump administration has released its own bombshell about COVID-19 which turns out to be only refried conspiracy theories and which avoids discussion of the role of the US military, multinational banks and pharmaceutical firms, DARPA, Israel, and the World Economic Forum. The statement DOES address many realities of the totalitarian rule and anti-scientific policies (like masks and social distancing) undertaken in the United States, and it deserves credit for that. But by trying to pin everything on China, and to suggest there was a dangerous “Covid virus” the report continues the legacy of fraud from the Biden administration, reshaping it so as to justify preparations for a war with China. There are lots of viruses out there, and clearly various biological weapons were employed to make people sick around the world as part of the COVID-19 reign of terror. We do not know what those weapons were and we will not know until all the documents are declassified, but it is clear that Covid-19 was 90% psychological operation, or maybe 95%, and not a biological attack on the citizens of the earth. There was no COVID-19 virus, no gain of function deadly virus killing thousands, and figures like Kennedy who promote that myth know full well that they are promoting a bogus explanation. COVID-19 was a psychological operation intended to destroy civil society and to degrade the ability of citizens’ ability to think independently. It offered the softening up and dumbing down of the population necessary before they could be compelled to use bogus vaccines. Any suggestion that it was a lab produced virus is a red herring. Of course, there is nothing surprising here. But I have seen numerous so-called truth tellers propagating this garbage. That part is deeply disappointing. Needless to say, no American corporations are having their assets seized for their crimes. No, everything is pushed onto China. That there was cooperation between criminal elements in the US, Israel, Germany, China, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere as part of this operation is clear. We need to have all the documents declassified. Nothing else will do. The Covid Dossier compiled by Sasha Latypova and Debbier Lerman gives a pretty good summary of what actually took place, although it also has a lot of blanks—and that is as it should be as we still do not know the full story. *** The True Origins of COVID 19 The White House THE ORIGIN “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory — was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated naturally. PROXIMAL ORIGIN PUBLICATION: “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory — was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated in nature. GAIN-OF-FUNCTION RESEARCH: A lab-related incident involving gain-of-function research is the most likely the origin of COVID-19. Current government mechanisms for overseeing this dangerous gain-of-function research are incomplete, severely convoluted, and lack global applicability. ECOHEALTH ALLIANCE INC. (ECOHEALTH): EcoHealth — under the leadership of Dr. Peter Daszak — used U.S. taxpayer dollars to facilitate dangerous gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China. After the Select Subcommittee released evidence of EcoHealth violating the terms of its National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) commenced official debarment proceedings and suspended all funding to EcoHealth. New evidence also shows that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has opened an investigation into EcoHealth’s pandemic-era activities. NIH FAILURES: NIH’s procedures for funding and overseeing potentially dangerous research are deficient, unreliable, and pose a serious threat to both public health and national security. Further, NIH fostered an environment that promoted evading federal record keeping laws — as seen through the actions of Dr. David Morens and “FOIA Lady” Marge Moore. HHS OBSTRUCTION: The Biden Administration’s HHS engaged in a multi-year campaign of delay, confusion, and non-responsiveness in an attempt to obstruct the Select Subcommittee’s investigation and hide evidence that could incriminate or embarrass senior public health officials. It appears that HHS even intentionally under-resourced its component that responds to legislative oversight requests. ECOHEALTH OBSTRUCTION: EcoHealth President Dr. Peter Daszak obstructed the Select Subcommittee’s investigation by providing publicly available information, instructing his staff to reduce the scope and pace of productions, and doctoring documents before releasing them to the public. Further, Dr. Daszak provided false statements to Congress. DR. DAVID MORENS: Dr. Fauci’s Senior Advisor, Dr. David Morens, deliberately obstructed the Select Subcommittee’s investigation, likely lied to Congress on multiple occasions, unlawfully deleted federal COVID-19 records, and shared nonpublic information about NIH grant processes with EcoHealth President Dr. Peter Daszak. NEW YORK OBSTRUCTION: New York’s Executive Chamber — led presently by Governor Kathy Hochul — redacted documents, offered numerous illegitimate privilege claims, and withheld thousands of documents without an apparent legal basis to obstruct the Select Subcommittee’s investigation into former Governor Cuomo’s pandemic-era failures. WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO): The WHO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic was an abject failure because it caved to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party and placed China’s political interests ahead of its international duties. Further, the WHO’s newest effort to solve the problems exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic — via a “Pandemic Treaty” — may harm the United States. SOCIAL DISTANCING: The “6 feet apart” social distancing recommendation — which shut down schools and small business across the country — was arbitrary and not based on science. During closed door testimony, Dr. Fauci testified that the guidance “sort of just appeared.” MASK MANDATES: There was no conclusive evidence that masks effectively protected Americans from COVID-19. Public health officials flipped-flopped on the efficacy of masks without providing Americans scientific data — causing a massive uptick in public distrust. LOCKDOWNS: Prolonged lockdowns caused immeasurable harm to not only the American economy, but also to the mental and physical health of Americans, with a particularly negative effect on younger citizens. Rather than prioritizing the protection of the most vulnerable populations, federal and state government policies forced millions of Americans to forgo crucial elements of a healthy and financially sound life. NEW YORK PANDEMIC FAILURES: Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s March 25 Order — which forced nursing homes to accept COVID-19 positive patients — “was medical malpractice.” Evidence shows that Mr. Cuomo and his Administration worked to cover up the tragic aftermath of their policy decisions in an apparent effort to shield themselves from accountability. COVID-19 MISINFORMATION: Public health officials often mislead the American people through conflicting messaging, knee-jerk reactions, and a lack of transparency. Most egregiously, the federal government demonized alternative treatments and disfavored narratives, such as the lab leak theory, in a shameful effort to coerce and control the American people’s health decisions. When those efforts failed, the Biden Administration resorted to “outright censorship—coercing and colluding with the world’s largest social media companies to censor all COVID-19-related dissent.” THE ORIGIN “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory — was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated naturally. . . 1. The virus possesses a biological characteristic that is not found in nature. 2. Data shows that all COVID-19 cases stem from a single introduction into humans. This runs contrary to previous pandemics where there were multiple spillover events. 3. Wuhan is home to China’s foremost SARS research lab, which has a history of conducting gain-of-function research (gene altering and organism supercharging) at inadequate biosafety levels. 4. Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) researchers were sick with COVID-like symptoms in the fall of 2019, months before COVID-19 was discovered at the wet market. 5. By nearly all measures of science, if there was evidence of a natural origin it would have already surfaced. But it hasn’t. . Did Trump post about Iranian wind secretly powering US windmills?

Everybody said the windmills were clean. WRONG. I said from day one, where do you think the WIND comes from? Nobody wanted to talk about it. Now very smart people are telling me Iran has been pushing massive amounts of wind into our country through secret atmospheric corridors. TOTAL CONTROL. Why do you think the windmills only spin when it’s windy? Think about it!!! Biden gave them access. Sad! And by the way the birds know. The birds are disappearing because they’re afraid. Never happened before. Under me, we had beautiful calm air. Strong American air. Not Iranian wind. We’re going to look into it VERY strongly. Maybe bar nighttime wind. (Threads user @vcastagna59) The image appeared to show that the post was shared at 12:42 p.m. on May 8, 2026, and received 5.5 million views. The alleged post circulated on various social media platforms, including Threads, X and Facebook. Some users appeared to share it as a joke, while others questioned whether it was real. Snopes readers also emailed us and searched our website to determine whether Trump shared the post in question. However, Trump did not share such a post. As of this writing, Trump had not posted on his official X account since March 2, 2026. Searches of Trump’s Truth Social account and Trump’s Truth, a website that archives the president’s posts on the platform, also found no evidence of the alleged post.  A Google search for exact phrases from the alleged post, including “Iranian wind,” “secret atmospheric corridors” and “maybe bar nighttime wind,” produced no reputable news reports confirming that Trump shared it. Instead, search results led to social media posts and reposts of the same fake screenshot. (Google search results) It was unclear who first created or shared the fabricated image. The earliest examples we found were reposts, none of which conclusively identified the screenshot’s source. We will update this article if more information becomes available. The fake post circulated amid real news coverage of Trump’s opposition to wind energy, which may have lent the claim credibility. On May 3, 2026, Reuters reported that the Trump administration halted U.S. onshore wind development, citing national security concerns, and that about 165 wind energy projects on private land had been delayed. Trump has also repeatedly criticized wind turbines. In July 2025, The Associated Press fact-checked several of his claims about wind power, reporting that his comments included false or misleading information about wind energy in the United States and abroad.  But there was no evidence that Trump claimed Iran was sending wind into the U.S. through “secret atmospheric corridors.” According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, wind is caused by uneven heating of the Earth’s surface by the sun, and wind turbines generate electricity by using blades to collect the wind’s kinetic energy. The fake post’s reference to birds also touched on real debates over wind energy and wildlife. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says studies have documented bird and bat deaths at wind energy facilities, though mortality rates vary by facility and region. However, we found no evidence for the screenshot’s claim that birds were “disappearing because they’re afraid” of wind supposedly coming from Iran. Trump didn’t ‘direct’ anything – he’s a gofer who does what he’s told as with Iran. This is the start of a long-planned release of ‘alien’ information to suit the agenda of the Global Cult (and its other-dimensional masters) and not in the name of ‘transparency’. Cult-owned ‘authority’ doesn’t tell you the truth

It tells you only the part it wants you to see wrapped in lies and misdirection. This first ‘release’ says ‘we’ll let you make your mind up what to think because we don’t know – it’s a mystery.’ But when it comes to the Cult inner circle and its in-the-loop agents in the military and government (the right order in the hierarchy) they absolutely DO know what is going on because they have been interacting with, and following orders from, interdimensional entities all along and back into ancient ‘history’.The first release in the Psyop is to put the subject into the centre of public awareness with added establishment ‘credibility’ and more will follow drip-by-drip with the massively hyped Spielberg movie Disclosure Day only weeks away. This is, of course, not by coincidence but by design. Watch also for religion seeking to use the information ‘revealed’ over the weeks to support its various ‘stories’ on which its narratives are based when the other-dimensional controllers of human society are the very creators of religions to imprison minds and divide and rule.I should be the last one to challenge what is being presented now and in the weeks ahead. I should be saying ‘told you so’ given what I have been revealing about other-dimensional manipulation of humans for 30 years. But I don’t because the ‘truth’ will not be what they are telling you. It will be spun in a way that suits them. When they say ‘it’s a mystery’ they are lying to you. To the out-of-the-loop lower ranks it may be a ‘mystery’, but not to the inner circle who take their orders from that which they claim is a ‘mystery’.The ‘alien’ Psyop has only just begun.FIRST ON FOX: President Trump has directed federal agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files related to UFOs and extraterrestrial life. The move follows “tremendous interest” from the public and promises a level of transparency into unidentified… pic.twitter.com/bDAY07FUcy— Fox News (@FoxNews) May 8, 2026 *** This article has been archived by Conspiracy Resource for your research. UFO files live: New documents reveal declassified ‘sightings’ as critics accuse Trump of propaganda with document release

UFO Files: All of the videos from latest Defense Department releasePresident Donald Trump is facing criticism after the Pentagon announced the release of “never-before-seen” files on UFOs and “unidentified anomalous phenomena.”The Trump administration has claimed the files were released as part of a “historic transparency effort.” But some have criticized the move, including GOP congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who accused the administration of peddling “propaganda.”“I really don’t care about the UFO files. I just don’t. I’m so sick of the ‘look at the shiny object’ propaganda while they wage foreign wars, let rapist and pedophiles run free, and ruin the value of our dollar,” Greene wrote on X.Additional documents will be released on a rolling basis, according to the Defense Department. Trump praised the release on Truth Social, writing, “Have fun and enjoy!”The documents shared Friday include a transcript of the 1969 Apollo 11 mission crew debriefing, during which astronaut Buzz Aldrin described “unusual” observations he made during the expedition. The files also included a transcript of the Apollo 17 lunar crew reporting unidentified phenomena during their 1972 mission. Pilot Ronald Evans described “a few very bright particles” drifting past the spaceship, while fellow crew member Harrison Schmitt told mission control, “It looks like the Fourth of July out of Ron’s window.”Key PointsIn pictures: ‘Unidentified phenomena’ spotted on Apollo 12 missionThe Pentagon’s UFO files included several photos of “unidentified phenomena” taken by Apollo 12 astronauts on the moon’s surface.Apollo 12 astronauts photographed five different ‘unexplained phenomena’ at their landing site, according to the Pentagon (Defense Department)Apollo 12 astronauts took several photos of ‘unexplained phenomena,’ including this image, which appears to show a long, straight object in the distance (Defense Department)A small dot photographed from the moon’s surface during the Apollo 12 mission. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, a colleague and ally of Burchett’s, echoed the sentiment.”The American people deserve transparency, accountability, and access to information regarding UAP’s and disclosure that the government has kept hidden from the public for decades,” she tweeted. “This is a massive first step in the right direction.”Eric Garcia8 May 2026 20:00ICYMI: MAGA influencer embarrassed by infamous Epstein binder photo said he won’t help with release of Trump’s UFO filesLast year, MAGA influencer Rogan O’Handley participated in an infamous White House photo op, where he was photographed alongside likeminded activists holding a binder labeled “The Epstein Files: Phase 1.”Unfortunately, the much-anticipated release by then-Attorney General Pam Bondi turned out to contain nothing new about the crimes of the politically-connected pedophile Jeffrey Epstein – leaving MAGA figures who had spent years demanding new information feeling cheated. Now, he says he regrets the experience and plans to play no role in the UFO files disclosure.Read more:Brendan Rascius8 May 2026 19:30NASA praises release of UFO filesNASA Administrator Jared Isaacman celebrated the government’s release of the UFO files Friday. “I applaud President Trump’s whole-of-government effort to bring greater transparency to the American people on unidentified anomalous phenomena. The light was an intense diamond white light with what appeared to be a ring around the light and was located on the eastern end of the object,” the FBI report says.“The object was ‘metallic bronze in color’ and was the length of two or three Blackhawk helicopters lined up nose to tail. The width of the object was approximately the width of one and a half Blackhawks but was hard to determine due the light on the object’s eastern end which may have been obscuring part of the body. Trump Gives Green Light for New Arms Deliveries to Ukraine

Apparently, the Trump administration’s recent pro-war shift is not limited to the Middle East. The Republican administration seems increasingly yielding to the interests of the military lobby and the so-called “deep state,” approving measures that will harm international security and further worsen current tensions (in addition to contributing nothing to US people’s legitimate interests). To read this article in the following languages, click the Translate Website button below the author’s name. Русский, Español, Farsi, عربي, Deutsch, Italiano, Hebrew, Portugues, 中文, Français, 日本語, 한국어, Türkçe, Српски. And 40 more languages. Recently, the Trump administration gave the green light to the sale of precision-guided bomb kits to Ukraine. The package is estimated to be worth over 373 million dollars. The approval is a direct consequence of strong congressional pressure on the administration. Although the White House had been trying to freeze discussions on the subject, lawmakers – many of whom directly represent the interests of the military-industrial complex – had long been pushing for the measure’s approval. The approved equipment is the JDAM-Extended Range (JDAM-ER), which can be used to convert heavy bombs into guided munitions, increasing the impact power of attacks. These munitions are generally guided by a GPS system, and can hit targets tens of kilometers away. Depending on where these bombs are launched from, they could destroy numerous civilian targets in Russian border regions. The approval was announced by the US State Department itself in a document published on May 5. Interestingly, the text appears to have been written in an “optimistic” tone, celebrating the approval as a kind of “victory” and stating that the measure will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. The Department said this new aid package will not alter the military balance in the conflict, but will allow Ukraine to engage more effectively in “self-defense” operations. “The proposed sale will improve Ukraine’s capability to meet current and future threats by providing it with additional means to conduct self-defense missions and enhance regional security (…) [The package] will not alter the basic military balance in the region,” the statement reads. The way the State Department simultaneously “celebrated” the news and tried to disguise its nature, pretending there was no escalating attitude, indicates that the US pro-war lobby is not only active in Congress but also within the government agencies themselves. This is not surprising, considering that the presence of representatives from the defense industry and Western transnational elites among American state officials and bureaucrats is a fact long denounced by various insiders and investigative journalists. It seems clear that recently these parliamentarians and bureaucrats representing the American “deep state” (the network of businessmen and criminals who control local politics behind the scenes) have managed to obtain several substantial victories in Washington. Since Trump made the irresponsible decision to attack Iran and start a new war in the Middle East, the original MAGA promises – focused on economic nationalism and non-interventionism – seem to have been forgotten. Consequently, Trump’s previous promises of peace in Ukraine, which even included the possible suspension of military aid to Kiev, are now completely ignored. In fact, the new assistance will not change the situation on the battlefield in any way. Ukraine has already used JDAM-ER systems before, adapting them to its fighter jets for air operations. Russia has been successful in repelling these attacks using electronic warfare mechanism, which easily affect the operational capabilities of GPS-guided systems. In practice, Russia will continue to have a significant military advantage in all sectors, and the new aid will not be a “game changer” for the regime. Nevertheless, it is reprehensible that Trump is deepening a stance that will only escalate the conflict. Even without significantly changing the military landscape, these systems can facilitate illegal attacks against border regions – something that has already become commonplace in Ukraine. Washington is once again becoming complicit in the crimes of the Ukrainian regime against Russian civilians, ignoring the original non-interventionist proposals of the MAGA project. It is wrong to attribute all responsibility for these recent events to Trump. It is well known that the US president himself does not have enough political power to resist the pressure from the various lobbies that control Congress and government agencies. However, Trump needs to demonstrate more ability to contain the interests of these lobbying groups if he does not want to lose his legitimacy and popularity. Trump was elected on promises of peace and domestic economic reforms. Now, his policy is heading towards international interference to the detriment of national interests. Either he reverses this in time or his popularity will erode. * This article was originally published on InfoBrics. Lara Trump addresses wild conspiracy theory about Barron: ‘I broke a lot of people’s hearts today’

Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara has debunked a wild conspiracy theory relating to the president’s youngest son Barron, comparable to the Moon landing being faked or that 9/11 was an inside job.On the latest episode of The Right View with Lara Trump, the presenter said she had been immersed in viral videos about her brother-in-law and felt compelled to address one of the outlandish claims on his behalf. The youngest of the president’s children, Barron has shown apparent reluctance to enter the national spotlight, in stark contrast to his father or elder brothers Don Jr and Eric. open image in galleryBarron Trump’s reluctance to spend time in the public eye has caused him to become a figure of intrigue (AP)This has inadvertently caused the 20 year-old to acquire an air of mystery amongst some fans, with one of the more absurd claims being that he is a “time traveller”. Lara Trump discussed the viral theory on her show Thursday, marvelling at the “amount of views that some of these videos get where they really dissect how this really worked out,” only to deliver a sharp dose of reality.“I’m not trying to ruin anybody or rain on any parades here,” she said. “Barron Trump is not a time traveler. Sorry to say it. I’m sorry, I broke a lot of people’s hearts today.”Saying the conspiracy was illustrative of “how much really crazy stuff exists” online, she challenged her viewers: “Name me one time traveler. Name me anybody who actually can say that that’s a real thing?“It doesn’t exist but people have gotten so far off the rails on this ‘Barron being a time traveler’ thing. I don’t know what to tell you. I think it’s crazy. I’ve known Barron for 18 years, OK, he’s not a time traveler.”open image in galleryLara Trump discusses a truly wild conspiracy theory about her brother-in-law on her show The Right View (Lara Trump/The Right View)She continued: “I’ve seen him grow up, it’s crazy stuff, but I think people love to grab on to conspiracies or things that are very far-fetched like that.”The basis for the improbable theory – which has been discussed by Joe Rogan, among others – is that the American lawyer and author Ingersoll Lockwood (1841-1918) wrote two children’s books in the late 19th century in which the title character is a wealthy boy adventurer named Wilhelm Heinrich Sebastian Von Troomp, or Baron Trump. The character features in two novels, The Travels and Adventures of Little Baron Trump and his Wonderful Dog Bulger (1889) and Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Journey (1893), which are said to have been inspired by the taste for fantastical literature brought about by the popularity of Lewis Carroll’s work.In the books, Baron Trump is a precocious boy with “a very active brain” who lives at Castle Trump, from which he sets out on globe-trotting adventures that regularly find him causing offence to the characters he encounters. The parallels between Lockwood’s work and the MAGA era were first pointed out during President Trump’s first term but the idea that the novels are based on the real Barron Trump’s travels back to the 1890s has blossomed alongside growing interest in the man himself.open image in galleryA frontispiece illustration from Ingersoll Lockwood’s 1893 novel Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Journey (Wikimedia Commons)Another later Lockwood novel, 1900, or The Last President is arguably even more prescient in that it concerns a populist outsider candidate winning a U.S. presidential election and bringing about the downfall of the republic. On another recent episode of her show, Lara Trump said of the real-life Barron: “I don’t know if he knows that the internet is obsessed with him. I think he knows that there is a lot of interest. “But that’s why he likes to lay low. That’s why he likes to play it cool. That’s why you don’t see him all the time.” *** This article has been archived by Conspiracy Resource for your research. The original version from The Independent can be found …

No evidence Trump called Norah O’Donnell ‘Nora O’Dumble’ in social media post

Claim: A screenshot authentically shows an April 2026 social media post in which U.S. President Donald Trump wrote, “That DIRTY nasty 60 minute broad asked me about Epstein to try and smear me. So listen upon NORA O’dumble, keep it up with the BS cause it’s all you have.” A rumor that U.S. President Trump posted to social media mocking CBS News and “60 Minutes” correspondent Norah O’Donnell spread online in late April 2026.  Users on social media shared a purported screenshot of an X post in which Trump allegedly said, “That DIRTY nasty 60 minute broad asked me about Epstein to try and smear me. So listen upon NORA O’dumble, keep it up with the BS cause it’s all you have.” The pervasive spread of the screenshot led to many Snopes readers contacting us for more information on its authenticity.  The purported Trump post was dated April 27, 2026, and read:  That DIRTY nasty 60 minute broad asked me about Epstein to try and smear me. So listen upon NORA O’dumble, keep it up with the BS cause it’s all you have. I was totally 100% exonerated by Todd Blanche and Epstein’s girlfriend so stick it. Furthermore this is proof we need a ballroom. Somehow I’ll figure out how to cram all 2400 attendees into our 1000 person ballroom but I’m Trump and I can make it happen. And going forward I’m directly Kadh Patel to investigate anyone who brings up Epstein since it’s being used by ANTIFA to promote violence against the greatest president ever. Thomas Massie is on the short list with Tucker Carlson and now NORA O’DUMBLE. The post was fake. A search of the president’s X and Truth Social accounts and an online archive of Trump’s social media posts revealed no such post.  Also, the purported screenshot does not match Trump’s actual X page. The “verified” badge in the fake post is blue, while Trump’s official X account has a gray badge reserved for “a government/multilateral organization or official.”  A reverse image search on Google conducted with the screenshot of the alleged post returned only other instances of users sharing the fake post. A reverse image search on TinEye of the same screenshot returned no results.  [embedded content] The fake post spread online after O’Donnell interviewed Trump during his April 26 appearance on “60 Minutes.” In the full interview, available on YouTube, O’Donnell asked Trump about a quote from the alleged manifesto of White House correspondents’ dinner shooting suspect Cole Allen that read, “I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” apparently referring to the president.  Trump replied by calling O’Donnell a “disgrace” for reading the quote and said, “I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would because you’re horrible people.”  “I’m not a rapist. I didn’t rape anybody. I’m not a pedophile,” Trump continued. “You read that crap from some sick person. I got associated with all stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated.”  The only mention of Jeffrey Epstein came from Trump himself at the 20:40 mark, when he accused O’Donnell’s “friends on the other side of the plate” of being “the ones that were involved” with the late sex offender. But Trump didn’t attack O’Donnell on social media. The only TV personality Trump did attack on social media on April 27 was comedian Jimmy Kimmel, whom Trump appeared to blame for the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on April 25. For further reading about purported posts from the president, check out Snopes’ investigation into claims about Trump purportedly posting he was “proud” of his “ICE boys” and a statement from January 2026 that the U.S. was “locked and loaded and ready to go” to intervene in Iran. *** This article has been archived by Conspiracy Resource for your research. Artemis astronauts’ awkward reaction as Trump teases classified UFO files will be released ‘soon’

The Artemis II crew smirked as President Donald Trump fielded questions about his long-awaited UFO files during their visit to the White House on Wednesday.Standing behind the President in the Oval Office, the four astronauts listened as reporters pressed Trump on when Americans might finally see the highly anticipated government records.Trump had invited the crew, NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman and Christina Koch, along with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, to celebrate their historic journey around the moon earlier this month, praising them as heroes of a mission that marked a major milestone in NASA’s return to deep space. The moment took an unexpected turn when questions shifted from spaceflight to unidentified flying objects, drawing visible reactions from the astronauts as Trump began discussing the long-awaited disclosure. When asked about his promised UFO disclosure, Trump suggested that long-awaited files could soon be made public.’I think we will be releasing as much as we can in the near future,’ the president replied. ‘For some reason, and I guess it’s just a reason, it’s been in the minds of people for a long time. They want to find out about the UFOs and anything having to do with UFOs or related material.’Trump first announced the planned disclosure in February, ordering the Pentagon to release all government files related to UFOs and extraterrestrials. However, months later, Americans have yet to see a single document or video from the promised release, fueling growing curiosity about what the files may reveal. Standing just behind the president in the Oval Office on Wednesday, NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman and Christina Koch, along with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, appeared amused as reporters pressed Trump on when Americans might finally see the highly anticipated government records’I think it is going to be interesting to some people,’ Trump added.’I have interviewed people, my first term primarily, I interviewed some pilots. Very solid people, and they said they saw things that you wouldn’t believe.’The astronauts remained composed behind him as he spoke, though their subtle smiles and suppressed laughter added a light moment to an otherwise serious discussion about government transparency and unidentified aerial phenomena.’You’re going to be reading about it,’ Trump said, hinting that new details could soon be released to the public. The president looked at NASA Administrator Jared Issacman during the discussion, who quietly said ‘yes, Mr President’ and nodded his head to Trump’s statement about the public wanting to know the truth about UFOs.Trump gave the order for disclosure just hours after he lashed out at Barack Obama for allegedly sharing classified information when he appeared to confirm that aliens exist while speaking on a podcast.’Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War… to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs)’ Trump wrote on Truth Social in February. Lawmakers and defense officials have in recent months renewed calls for greater transparency surrounding decades of classified material tied to unexplained aerial sightings. Trump ordered UFO disclosure in February, but Americans have yet to see a single document or video from the promised release, fueling growing curiosity about what the files may reveal Trump has gone quiet about his plans to release government files related to UFOs and extraterrestrial life. However, the war with Iran began shortly after he announced it in February. But other government officials have not forgotten.Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna penned a letter to the US Secretary of Defense on April 1, ordering Pete Hegseth to deliver 46 specific clips no later than April 14.Lawmakers said the videos could reveal patterns of activity near sensitive military sites and help determine whether the objects pose a potential national security threat. The requested footage includes dozens of military-recorded encounters showing spherical, cigar-shaped and Tic Tac-like objects spotted over war zones, oceans and sensitive airspace around the world.Luna, however, said on April 14 on X that ‘no one from the Pentagon had responded until we reached out, and it appears that someone did not pass the letter to the appropriate authorities.’ ‘How convenient,’ the Florida representative added, noting that while she considers Hegseth a friend and supporter of President Trump, ‘the president has authorized the release, so whoever is trying to be cute at the Pentagon can take a hike.’ *** This article has been archived by Conspiracy Resource for your research.
